    The battle system seems interesting like it was in Arceus and I expect the world to be a bit more interesting and less ugly than the big empty regions we saw in Hisui, but on the other hand I am not a fan of the art style direction the series is going in.

    I think they want to have some diversity in which pokemon are part of the sync pairs, so they didn't give Blaine an Arcanine because Blue already had one? That's just a guess though. Doesn't explain Morty having a Ho-Oh though, unless it's just because they come from the same city.
