Woah, that is indeed a pretty cool theory. Though it's interesting that the Shade is a symbiote or guardian or parasite... while Eris is independent completely. I have my own tentative headcanon of her actually being a Nightmare - thus the eating of dreams and the dread, which then causes nightmares which she then eats - but so far her origins and such are... pretty damn fuzzy. I haven't decided on anything, yet.

Quite cool interpretation that she is a being of light, that eats darkness and pain and fear. So really, she purifies the world of it... though she always creates more so she can sustain herself, obviously.

Thanks for sharing it! I think if Amityville comes back and you do make Nick again, their interactions should be cool.

Yes, yes... we're both going massively overboard here, and plotting before it's even been confirmed. But I'll be damned if I can help it - I was crushed when the place closed down right before we were about to have amazing flashy contests of power! Oh, and I also just find plotting really addictive and fun, soooooo...

It's nice to have something to picture when I hear now beyond "creepypasta lady with awesome tribal tattoos" and I'm quite envious of your ability to actually colour things. I can do lineart that looks like it belongs in a Tim Burton movie, but that's pretty much it. Have you drawn your person yet? Or... are you waiting to decide on who you'd wanna use as well?

Eh, it's always hard picking between a concept you already like and never got to see developed... and something brand new, with an all original set of shiny powers and personality traits (read: HORRIBLE CHARACTER FLAWS) to explore and exploit for the sake of plot. Aaa you're thinking of reviving Amityville? I was just terrible back then, buuut I kind of want to do that (with a completely different character, because what's-her-name's concept was boring and silly).

Oh... I guess I should mention that my Internet access is going to be limited a slight bit this week. I'll try to be active when I can, but I'll usually have to resort to my DSi to get online, as my dad has taken my iPod for whatever reason. >.>;

Wooooah. The sketch looks awesome - that expression is flawless, all "I like you and that means I must look gleeful and murderous" - and the clothes are totally fine! I have no problem with that, and her hair and face are really awesome and you nailed the markings too~

Nick looks awesome. More to the point, the Shade looks amazing and I could stare at those wings for a really long time.

Ah, yeah - that's kind of a poor choice of words. Think tribal sort of swirls around her neck. Back then, I used a torque because there were often swirly-designed torques people could wear, but... really bad way of describing it.

I'll most likely approve of it no matter what she's dressed in, since the most important stuff in her appearance was always the markings, her eyes and that she looks creepy. But yeah, if you want, post it! I admit, I'm curious.

Yeah, I never do well with appearances. So "dark and creepy" is accurate and... basically all I was thinking of when I considered her appearance at all. XD I look forward to seeing it~
