• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Anyone hear about Michael Jackson yet?

farrah fawcett was an actress and sex symbol in the 70s. a poster bearing her body was among one of the best-selling posters around the country back then. ed mcmahon was the announcer for the tonight show with johnny carson. he also hosted star search in the 80s and early 90s, i think. in...

Anyone hear about Michael Jackson yet?

i'm playing off the wall right now. i was never fond of mj's music as much as i was of others, but i still think he was a talented songwriter and composer. (though i'm not entirely sure how many of his songs are his compositions..)

The shows that should be brought back and/or re-created.

i would love it if some network brought maude back. i like dorothy on the golden girls, but i think bea arthur was better as maude. i'd rather have the opportunity to see that six hours a day over the golden girls.

    What are you reading?

i just read a book, closer, by dennis cooper. it was pretty good; the abundance of sex scenes made it more than a little unsettling, though. but i recommend it. i'll probably start frankenstein in the next few days. yay, summer reading..

Help me choose an FF game (please)

i'd say get ff9. the characters are far more fleshed out in ff9 than they are in ff8. ff7.. eh. if you ever get a ps3, they put it up there recently. you can probably get it that way for much cheaper. it's probably worth it to play that last of the three.

my history project went really well!

as my last history assignment, i had to write a song encompassing developments in american history between 1989 and the present. it could be any length, any genre, anything you wanted, as long as it did what my teacher asked. he assigned the project in the spring, figuring the project would take...

Help me rekindle my relationship with manga

the last manga i picked up that i really enjoyed was dororo, by osamu tezuka. it's only three volumes long and they're reasonably priced. for that matter, pretty much tezuka anything is worth your money. there's also emma, a romance story about a victorian-era maid. the art in it is pretty...
