• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

The Evolution of Your Musical Tastes

I'll go by favorite artists. Britney Spears → Green Day → Ashlee Simpson → Evanescence → Within Temptation → Nightwish → Tristania → Flowing Tears (I try to forget about the first three.)

@Amorphis: Very good, actually. Nice and melodic... this is a band I need to check out more. Flowing Tears - Serpentine

I'm vaguely interested in metal but I don't really know where to start

So what is Sirenia if not metal?

Your post was really good and convincing until I read this. So if Sirenia changes their image, they'll be metal?

I'm vaguely interested in metal but I don't really know where to start

Your definition of "metal" is quite twisted. By definition, any genre must follow a number of artistic conventions, such as (in the case of metal) amplified distortion (check), extended guitar solos (check), emphatic beats (check), overall loudness (check). You don't get to make your own...

... How are they not metal? Also, I never said "SIRENIA ARE GOOD." I would never use the word "are" after a band name. ;) I hate to break it to you, but I enjoy female vocalists in music. This reflects through my recommendations. Nobody's forcing you to even acknowledge them ?_? (also, you are...

Obviously The 13th Floor isn't going to appeal to everyone. Goth elistists will still hate the poppiness, and 9DAAD fans will hate it because it's not as hollow and uninspired as that album.

Would you go naked for acting?

No - you see, the Invisible Pink Unicorn is everything that is. Oh... *looks at your age* Right.

Would you go naked for acting?

You guys are missing the point. God isn't real. The Invisible Pink Unicorn is. Therefore, any discussion about what God thinks is irrelevant.

Would you go naked for acting?

The Invisible Pink Unicorn looks highly upon the beauty of the natural body.

Good thing we don't base our opinions off those of a single person, right? eta: review of T13F http://arcaneretsu.livejournal.com/

What do you mean, doesn't work? o.o There are at least four torrents listed there with a decent amount of seeders.

iPod issues/new computer/floola (mostly music related so.)

I've never tried Floola, so I can't help you there. But YamiPod can do pretty much anything you want it to. It reads the files directly from the iPod - you can export songs from your iPod to your computer, and put them on from your computer... whatever you want.

I found it on a private torrent site I go to, but mininova has quite a few results: http://www.mininova.org/search/?search=the+13th+floor

Anyone who uses iTunes is a tool, but anyone who actually buys from their store is in the highest tier of tools :(

Being naked is nice. :3 <_< Getting paid for it is nicer. :D

Just use YamiPod (which isn't so full of itself as to think it knows what's best for your files, unlike many other iPod managers). Connecting your iPod to YamiPod won't delete your files or anything. Edit: Just make sure you don't have iTunes installed, obviously, because it'll feel the need to...
