• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Oh no. Arceus is coming to the U.S

Hm, someone needs to paint big pictures of Arceus all over the ceiling of a church once that happens, kinda like the Sistine Chapel. That would lead to some SERIOUSLY funny newscasts nationwide.

    The Legend of Zelda

Wind Waker is great and all, but what about A Link to the Past? ALttP is my all-time favorite. The gameplay was great, and the Dark World theme was amazing...

    Should zombies be refunded? O_O

Bwahaha. That's just anouther reason to sell their brains. I would love to see how all the stupid/annoying football players at my school respond to their hopes being crushed, forcing them to make an attempt to work hard like everyone else. It would bring the national literacy rate way, way up...

    2008 American Presidential Election

:O I...I don't know how to respond. Hurray? XD EDIT: Perhaps there should be a thread all about economics? This one's gotten waaay off topic, no thanks to me. XD

    Probopass fan club!

Count me in. It's all about the moustache/red hat looking thingy. Reminds me of a fatter version of Mario. :D

Oh no. Arceus is coming to the U.S

I say a little o' two and a little o' three. The last pope said Pokemon was harmless, so I think it'll be mainly Protestant Christains griping. Yes, they do make the majority in the US, so it doesn't make much of a difference. The newscasts will be unintentionally hilarious, as always, though...

    Religion

I don't really care what people believe, as long as no crazed radical runs into my house with an AK. :/ It both helps and hinders. Thousands of years ago state religions were once one of the easiest ways to enforce laws, so they really made a huge difference in ancient times. Most religions also...

Open The Darkest Hour (halfway through plot)

Re: The Darkest Hour- REMADE! George jumped when he heard the loud voice, and nervously turned around to see who it was coming from. Seeing it was just a Gallade, he calmed down. "What forest? Who are you? Why are you asking me that?" The little Riolu was jabbering away again. Without stopping...

Holy crap! That's what I was going to say. GET OUT OF MY MIND! >:| Well, except for Aerosmith. Not too crazy about them. :/

    Let's play the Sims 2!

Re: Possibly a dumb idea, Let's play the Sims 2 together! Thanks! Heh, Giggles will be alone in a house with two women. Add his Romance aspiration to that, and... XD EDIT: Oh crap. Just one woman...Poor Giggles is probably going to get into quite a few fights. :)

    2008 American Presidential Election

I love how in the last part you named three countries that do not have free markets as examples. That's...wow. XD To be honest, I think you can't really say that we're all suffering at all in the United States compared to the rest of the world. In fact, the standerd of living is excellent, and...

Free markets are not based off of theft, unless you count Russia's current "free market"... I honestly don't know why you think they are.

    2008 American Presidential Election

No, I'm not saying it should be an anarchy, I'm saying that it should be as close as possible while still keeping the people it rules safe. A goverment that has laws, people enforcing them, leaders, a military, and so on, but not much else. Pretty much a simple, simple, simple democratic...

    2008 American Presidential Election

I don't think it would. Corporations do collapse, even the powerful ones, even in a laissez-faire system... Humans need that kind of freedom, I think. Anarchy would be the best option if there wasn't such a thing as crime/war/other countries, so why not try to get as close to it as possible...

    2008 American Presidential Election

Like an oversized goverment is any better? America isn't anywhere near being a laissez-faire. It's a mixed economy, with parts of both capitalist and socialist economic systems being used. Really, it's a great idea, but I want to see something new get tried. I don't think a true laissez-faire...

    2008 American Presidential Election

I don't like him simply because unlike most people, I'm not too crazy about socialism. :/ I want to see a country with a Laissez-faire economic system for once... Heh, I bet noone is going to agree with me on this.
