• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Pokemon Titanium and Iron- They're baaack!

I am requesting the thread be locked. T/I is currently undergoing a period of intense change, and I would like the new T/I to have a fresh start. The first updates on T/I after this period will come on December 15, 2008. I hope to see you then.

Pokemon Titanium and Iron- They're baaack!

I know the art is down; be patient. This is a random patch of desert. If you noticed, there's actually quicksand in the desert now. This appears near springs, which are littered along the path, creating oases which, in addition to having rare Berries, can act as checkpoints during the trip...

Should convicted felons get the right to cast a vote? [USA]

In all fairness, I am biased; it's difficult to be impartial when referring to that sort of human scum.

    Should AIDS be cured?

No, but I believe the post was referring to communism in a similar sense to the Chinese government. Ice tiger, there's a line between "dreaming" and "forming an alternate reality".

Should convicted felons get the right to cast a vote? [USA]

Fair enough; the phrasing was bad, but the point still stands- not all felonies are equal.

    How are your class mates?

My class is a bunch of horrid little monsters who need to be deep-fried.

Bred to Death - British Kennel Club

It's sick and wrong. It is a living thing, not a pliable mass of flesh.

    Should AIDS be cured?

...This thread is a joke, right? Sleeping around is not worthy of death. I fail to see why someone who's raped should be forced to die if it can be avoided.

Should convicted felons get the right to cast a vote? [USA]

When expressing opinion, you talk in the first person.

    2012: Doom year? O_O

lulz. Even if you believe the Mayans, they're predicting the end of the current cycle, not the end of the universe.

How would you like to die?

Doing something which dooms the human race.

Lady or Man for Next President?

Whichever happens to be the gender of the best candidate.

Should convicted felons get the right to cast a vote? [USA]

That depends on the felony, I'd say. I wouldn't want a serial rapist voting, but I'm rather indifferent to something significantly less.

Mischimp, by our new Sugi artist, Seviper. I'm quite happy with his work, obviously. Anyway, Mischimp is, for the duller among us, a mischievous imp. Be careful. While you're distracted, they could steal something.

    PMD2 Wondermail Experiments (spoilers!)

The first trip to Treeshroud, it uses a greyscale palette. I'd like to see if that's a separate dungeon or just a switch that modifies the palette. ...Deep... Concealed Ruins? Holy crap. Shame the name appears to be all that was left over, but... Surprised they don't repeat the cutscenes...

    PMD2 Wondermail Experiments (spoilers!)

So... they ARE distinct dungeons, but they use the names of the parent dungeons? Odd. One would think it'd be easier to test if you could tell them apart. I wouldn't be sure- the code preventing me from taking missions to unlock them may apply anyway.

    PMD2 Wondermail Experiments (spoilers!)

Thank you. Test dungeons? Those sound interesting. Try to find one for Time, and post anything you find here. Also of interest would be the paralyzed Treeshroud Forest- is it a switch that changes the dungeon's palette (and, IIRC, a few encounters), or is it a separate dungeon. I'm going to...

    Abortion

BUT in manslaughter, the mind usually is controling the body, causing the action which causes the accidental death. Miscarriage is reflexive; it's not at all controlled.

    Abortion

How should one define killing? The mother's body has a part in the miscarriage, but not the mother's mind. She doesn't even press the proverbial switch which would cause the death most of the time, so...

    Abortion

No, because a miscarriage is totally different. It's an accidental death. It's not a punishment; it's a responsibility to ensure the fetus's survival into birth. You're responsible for its existence; you don't get to just absolve yourself of that responsibility.
