Something I noticed is the crazy shading. The light source for all pokemon sprites is from the top left corner, but some parts contradict it. Here's some mistakes I found in the shading: ^ Shading facing the wrong way ^ Shading facing the wrong way and lightest shade touching...- Mudkipz

If you're working in paint, then move the sprite to the top left corner of the area and resize the white space so that it's hugging the sprite.- Mudkipz

Ken, you have a little work to on your sprites. For one, they're resized. Sprites should be small and pixely, not smooth. If you need to work on them at a small level, zoom in instead of stretching them. See, this is a sprite: While this is not:- Mudkipz

It's really good. Is it a scratch? Anyway, the antennae on the left looks like a line going through its head. Maybe if you positioned it different, it'd look more like an antannae? Also, the tail coming out of the left side. It'd look a little better if it was on the right side, so the...- Mudkipz

This is cute, but the ears look a little floppy and realistic instead of straight and plastic like idogs usually are. I like it though. The tail is sort of bent in a weird way, and there's some black outline on the light source of the sprite. Good overall, I like the snarling effect.- Mudkipz

It looks sort of 2-D. Try coloring the outlines to match the shading is my advice, but other than that, it's really good. Especially the sword.- Mudkipz

Terry, may I give you some advice? When you recolor a sprite, you have to recolor the outlines as well. If you color a sprite blue, then the outlines can't be brown like this: It should be blue, like this: Recoloring the outlines to match the color inside makes the sprite look better and...- Mudkipz
