• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

All right. I've done it. No, I didn't win—That was never really my goal. I have, however, finished my story, capping at about 46,400 words. I'm done now. Overall, this was a fun month. I actually enjoyed the writing—Also, it provided a lot of time for me to finally write this story I've...

W00T 40,000! Aaaaand so. The heroes have now encountered the three trials: The first one is a battle room with most of the monsters they've faced thus far, the second is a speed trial with a time bomb in the center and a maze (fun fun) and the third is a room of puzzles, including two different...

I have changed my goal. All I want now is to finish my story—Not necessarily make 50,000 words.

...For the record, I was there (but not participating) when that was introduced in #TCoD. ...Anyway, I'm satisfied for today.

...wow. I just wrote the longest chapter I've ever written. And completely covered my debts—I'm no longer behind in NaNo anymore! ...Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to look at it and wonder how the heck I wrote that as fast as I did.

Well. I haven't had much time to write lately, and only had time today and yesterday to write 1200 words. =/ But I have weekends, so... In positive news, I'm really liking the story. Next free hour I have, I'll try to post what's now done. And only 800 words behind.

Well, done for today. Chapter seventeen was just as fun to write as chapters seven and fourteen. Ahhh, I LOVE battle scenes. On a somewhat-related note, my friend says "epic=explosions". People's thoughts? EDIT: Oh, and just realized that I'm more than halfway there!

For the record, that was a joke. And no, it is not a poké fanfic.

PEOPLE STOP EITH THE HOMOSEXUALITY FOCUS. NOVELS ARE NOT ABOUT THAT. Anyway, today was 2000 words, pushing me above 20,000, as well as compensating for yesterday. I also really like the chapter I wrote today. Yay!

UGH. Only typed 1200 words today—But I have an excuse! My dad takes courses from a comunity college, and they require him to do things at home on a windows. Why the produce doesn't work with mac I don't know. Anyway, since the computer I have the novel on is also the only one that can run the...

No, it's fine. Seriously. No big loss, except for if my replacement doesn't hold the team back. Seroiusly. Eh, you're actually right. I did have a complete rough draft, chapter for chapter, on paper. That is, apparently, cheating, and I accept the consequences. However, I will continue to write...

Excuse me? ROUGH draft? I already have a rough draft! ...The entire reason I'm posting here is that I hope to get content suggestions, and the people I'll distribute this to afterwards to edit are people who, I think, aren't as refined and won't give advice as good as members of this forum...

Well I'm done for today. You know, the funnest thing about this entire thing so far is seeing the stupidity of Microsoft Word's grammar-check. I swear, 9/10 times it's absolutely horrible grammar that they're recommending for my perfect grammar. *sigh* Microsoft needs to program their programs...

^YES. Well, I just barely made 17,000 words today, and am about 3/4 way through chapter 8. And good lord, people! I personally save every time I either leave the computer, or whenever I finish a chapter. Is it really that hard to his ctrl+s? So yeah. And in about fifteen days, my wordcount...
