• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Salutations, my fine fellows. You may call me William Syler.

I am some arbitrary gentleman from deep within the horrid landscape commonly known as Iowa. I will be 24 in a little over a month (Feb. 3rd), and have graduated from college with Bachelor Degrees in Psychology and Gender Studies. I love learning and discussing new topics, which leads to my two favorite kinds of communication: friendly debates and puns.

I have aspirations of becoming a writer despite my lack of actual effort, but I currently work in the soul-crushing field of child behavior therapy. Beyond that I don’t have much of a life.

I don't fit into a particular category as far as likes go; I tend to exist on the fringe of a few fandoms without diving deep enough into them to really get into it. The only exception to this rule is Pokemon because first loves win frequently enough for it to be a trope.

I've always been a Nintendo gamer, but that has waned significantly since college made it impractical for me, leaving me between hobbies right now.

This site came within my notice while I was searching for information on the catching calculations for Pokemon Platinum and I discovered a fansite that was particularly well made. I began exploring the content, and before long I was hooked. I hope I bring a positive presence to your lives as pixels shaped into text brought to you by the power of ELECTRICITY!

(Also, I promise to be more moderate in my use of typographical emphasis. :sweatdrop:)

Hey, look, another person from the midwest. Greetings from MN, person from the land of corn.

Tea, cod, meat-eating welcome mats and all that.
