• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Auto-flush toilets

Oh god yes...

They have even done it to the urinals in my school! And those things are either:

A) So FUCKING sensitive that even the slightest movement sets them off
B) The electronics version of OCD. Seriously, some of them have the habit of almost always flushing just as I walk to it to use it. And they are not designed to give a 'complimentary flush' (as a plumber that I saw put it (they were fixing the pipes as they were cracked)), since they sometimes don't, even though I KNOW the sensor caught me
C) So FUCKING hard to get to flush that I have to dance like a monkey to get it to flush

Have you people ever thought as to why they came up with these? It's because of those ass-hole germ-o-phobes who refuse to flush after they're done taking a shit. Not because they thought you wouldn't flush, but because the people who leave a floater in there for the whole world to see refuse to.

Read my entire first post. The answer is levers you push with your feet. Not that complicated.

At the zoo today they had auto-urinals that NEVER flushed.

Instead of dancing around like an idiot I went to see the animals.

Push levers are annoying too.

But the most annoying things are dirty gas station bathrooms. They ALWAYS have push faucets.

Why does it matter if the urinals don't flush? It pretty much goes down the drain no matter what.

There is one guys' bathroom in our school that literally has three empty paper towel dispensers most of the time. It is also home to the "booger wall", and has a lovely brown streak on one of the stall doors. Also: it reeks of piss from about eight feet away from the door. (which the girls' bathroom does not)

The bathrooms in our school radically vary in quality. The worst are the two guys' bathrooms in the Lower School (because little kids tend to do stuff like pee in each others' faces), and the best one is the one in the athletic lobby. Same with the drinking fountains.

(is it just me, or do no adults understand how some drinking fountains are inherently better than others? they all think they're all the same. stupid adults :|)
