Open DEATH NOTE: The Waring Notes

Umm, Philly? Your characters family was killed by the Death Note, and your char has the Regeneration Note, why not revive them? Or (To Jason-Kun) can't you revive people who was written in the Death Note?Also, can be a Shinigami too? If not, just an owner of a Death Note.

Yes, the Regeneration Note can be used to revive someone killed with a Death Note, only the price is greater because whereas bringing someone back only takes off a couple days of the person's lifespan, bringing back someone killed with a Death Note takes off years. And yes, you can be a Shinigami.
 
Really, then I misunderstood. However, he doesn't believe in bringing the dead back to life, because it goes against his morals, and his plot.
