I got a grade of 6 and a reading ease score of 69 by writing this (I came up with that whole thing on the spot. o.O):
I ran deeper into the icy cave. My Repel was running out,and I had no more,I couldn't risk losing it. All my Pokemon had fainted,and if another battle came up,we'd all be gone forever. As my feet made craks in the harsh,ice cold floor,I could see light. The luminous light. It was the best thing I had seen all day. With all the energy I had left,I bolted towards the light. My Repel was gone. But,thankfully,I made it in time,and got out of that icy hell. I was in Blackthorn City.

One chapter of my fanfic got GL 7, RE 68... this is pretty good, especially since it's in my more "casual" writing style.
A piece of research I did for Scouts got GL 12, RE 40. This is my formal writing style.
A fact file on my home town got whoa, whaaaat?! Grade Level 13, Reading Ease 33?! Wow, I'm better at this then I thought.
This is fun! I'm gonna plug loads of stuff through this!
A story I wrote got GL 6, RE 66. I wrote that when I was about ten, and all of this other stuff is very, very recent.
A thing on pixies that I did earlier in the year got GL 11, RE 41. Not bad.
My Persona 4 drinking game got GL 11, for some reason, and RE 40.
Edit: "meow" gets grade minus three. "mewtwo" gets grade eight.
