Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Greetings, and let me be the second person to welcome you to the forums.
There's plenty to do here, many friendly people, a few unfriendly people, and a few jerks. Just like any other real-life society, in fact. If you need help, please don't hesitate to pose a question in the Forum Help section, and if you need a friendly shoulder to cry on, the coughing cupboard is great for that too.
I don't use that part of the site, personally.
Debates about almost anything you can think of go on in the debate forum, and if you're artistically inclined, or of a literary persuasion, then the writing forums or the role-playing forums are probably for you. You'll get the hang of things in no time, trust me.
