• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Since the PS3 Slim is coming out, I thought this would be a good chance to sell my old PS2 and all my games, which might help a teeny bit since they're quite old and don't sell for much to help out my PS3 funds just a bit.

Wrong.

Since a PS2 would sell back at £15, I collected all my games and asked ow much an average game would sell for; £5. Sixteen games with the full box and even more without, plus Brain Training.

All that equates to £100, not counting the memory card.

And the PS3 I targeted was a 40GB one, selling at £205 ad CEX, an exchange shop. I also saw LittleBigPlanet(my anti-drug) pre-owned for £10.

12 days of labor with Phill's dad and I can get my nubby hands on that holy grail of a console.

Twelve days minimum. Don't forget that school starts and my allowance returns. A few more sacrifices and I'm in with one hell of a chance.

Though knowing me,. something will come up but no worries. I still have at least £100 under my belt.

It's legendary. Plus Fry's the tutorial guy! Excellent.

Right, today's the day I sell my old friend.

I sold everything sans PS2 for £70, since some didn't have the instructions with them which greatly reduced the price on them.

The PS2 needs an official controller, and I lost that so a friend of mine is donating his. Tomorrow I sell and I work 4 days, double pay which equates to £80, plus the £15.

And I'm going to have to buy at gamestation since I got the store credit which raised the price to £70. They're selling a 40GB for £240, plus a 20% discount from using store credit.

Just a little bit to go.
