• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

My dad found a kitten at work yesterday! He got it and took it home (after much hissing and growling), and he took it to the vet today.

We have to quarantine her for three months (until we know if she has FIV or feline leukemia or anything) and wash our hands if we touch her, but we're probably keeping her! My little sis named her Leila because of her fur (she has long black fur, and Leila means "night," so it fits)

I'm so happy cause she's so adorable~

OMG HAPPYHAPPYHAPPYHAPPY FOR YOU!

P.S. Leila means night in hebrew, by the way(I happen to know some).

Another p.s. is the fact i have a street cat(yea not at home) I call pizzy/pieze(pizzy/pieze both mean tiny) that my neighbour calls Leila and is black. and small.

I don't remember exactly where, unfortunately. She's adorable though. (Ooh, Twiggy, thanks! Didn't know what language it came from. ^^)

I just hope she learns to trust us. She keeps hissing.

Well, of course she's hissing. I mean, all of a sudden, she's being picked up and hauled to an unfamiliar place with people she doesn't know. Naturally, she would be a little freaked and hostile. After a little time, she'll probably warm up to you.

My parents have gotten a lot of strays before (I think they're experts at this by now. XD), but I don't think any of them have actuallly this distrusting of us. (well, then again our last rescue was three three-week-old kittens, so...yeah, a bit too young to knmow anything.)

I think she's getting used to us though!
