The premise:

In a world parallel to Earth, Pokemon were even more highly revered than they are in our world--even the lowly Bidoofs are considered legends. In this Pokemon Kingdom, warriors that prove themselves in strength, meddle, and spirit may merge with the power of a Pokemon of their choice and become a member of the group sworn to protect Kanya, the Mew that rules the kingdom--the Pokemon Squadron. Led by the warrior that holds the power of Jirachi, Karinai; the squadron is the Kingdom's last line of defense against evil. Without Kanya and her mystic Rainbow Crystal, the kingdom will cease to exist.

One day, Darkrai and his team of Nightmares invaded the kingdom and tried to take the Crystal. In a last ditch effort to protect her treasure, Kanya sent the Crystal and her squadron to our world and charged her Pikachu advisor Ikazuchi with finding the seven spirits if Darkrai ever came to Earth before fleeing herself. The spirits settled inside seven humans, who are unaware of the powers inside their hearts.

Now Darkrai has sensed the Rainbow Crystal on Earth, and Ikazuchi is frantically looking for the spirits of the Pokemon Squadron--can they reunite and drive Darkrai away before both worlds are consumed in a nightmare that never ends?

Character's name: Hikari Iyami
Character's age: 15
Appearance: She's an average height and a thin build, about 5'2" tall, with relatively long, dark hair, reaching down just past her shoulder blades. She wears big, oversized glasses over her brown eyes.
Personality: Hikari is a major bookworm. She's very smart and loves to hang out at the library after school. She has a particular interest in entomology. She also has a passion for playing chess, and is very strategic in games. On the other hand, she's not as gifted athletically as most, and sometimes can be a little clumsy. She also tends to forget some details if she gets distracted by more interesting things. She has a habit of running her mouth, even if no one else is interested, and isn't always the most connected emotionally with others.

Alter Ego's Pokemon: Flygon ^^
Alter Ego's Appearance: Her costume is mainly a light green-colored dress and miniskirt, with pink laced trim, including a design of a dragonfly on the front. She receives a pair of triple-pointed, slightly curved daggers as her main melee weapon, which can be attached to the side of her costume when not in use. Her glasses become a lot fancier, with flashy red frames and pink lenses, and she wears a green tiara, with two long dark-green antennae attached in the approximate shape of a goat's horns, as well as a rhombus-shaped ruby gem in the center Also, she can sprout white wings with golden trim, out of her back, in the typical rhomboid shape.
Alter Ego's Powers: In addition to improving her strength, speed, and agility (which probably nearly all the alter egos would do:p), she gains the ability to fly for short distances, if she activates her wings. She also knows a number of earth attacks. "Sand Tornado" traps an enemy inside a swirling sandstorm, something she can navigate very easily, but may be more difficult for others. "Crystal Barrage" sends a number of small, pointy glass shards in a direction. "Geo Spear" targets an area of the ground, and causes it to rumble for a short time, then makes a couple of rocky spikes shoot out from the ground in that area. Finally, "Terra Quake" produces a conical shockwave out from her in a direction, tearing up the ground, and causing it to collapse under it.

How Awakened: She spotted a strange little yellow creature after school, who seemed to be spying on her. She chased after the creature, who happened to be Ikazuchi, until they were in a 'safe' place... where she discovered her powers.

Appearance: Blonde hair, usually in some kind of school uniform or sundress when not in her alter-ego form. Green eyes.

Personality: She's the hyper one of the group. She has many friends. She's basically always smiling.

Alter Ego's Name(if playing an elemental other than Light): ZeniBlast

Alter Ego's Pokemon: Blastoise

Alter Ego's Appearance: She has blue hair and a flowing, blue dress. She holds a blue ribbon on a stick in one hand with a blue staff in the other. her eyes are blue now. She has cannons on her back.

Alter Ego's Powers: Blasts of water shoot out of her hands and cannons. She can make waves with her ribbon. She can shoot water out of the ground with her staff.

How Awakened: Zuchi snuck into her room. After quite a bit of fright on awakeningd seeing the Pikachu, she found out the story. She was then granted her alter ego.
 
OK, I think I better understand it and would like to reserve. My mum is kicking me off the computer.

Character's age: 16
Appearance: She has long un kept black hair and forest green eyes. You can tell the gray skirt she wears used to be a lot longer and maybe a different shade. Her shirt is a bit tattered and was bits of different... unpleasant colors on it. She carries a bit of food in a black phanny pouch, the only thing that doesn't look to old. She lacks shoes.
Personality: She's a bit cool with people, but doesn't like seeing others in agony. She is nervous about her own powers and no one can quite figure out why she's never been to a house in five years...

Alter Ego's Name(if playing an elemental other than Light): Kuroi
Alter Ego's Pokémon: Banette
Alter Ego's Appearance: Her eyes are now the color of smoke. Her hair is done up in two loops on the side of her face with the rest in a bun. She wears a long gray dress with a black jacket over-top. Her shoes are white high heels.
Alter Ego's Powers: Black Prayer: she folds her hands and asks Arceus to drain her opponent's power and give it to herself and her teammates it, works like Giga Drain; Spirit Power: she summons balls of ghostly energy and directs them to the opponent, causing medium damage; Ebony Maelstrom: A black whirlpool sucks the opponent in and spins them around until they reach the middle, getting squeezed.

How Awakened: Meiun saw a Pikachu running in the streets and gave Ikazuchi one of her few berries she keeps for food.

Naming people after related Forgiven characters is fun.

Edited in my form. I just have one question: Is Ikazuchi an actual Pikachu when traveling on earth? I guess that would be a little conspicuous... but it would also make it easier to know when you find him/her.
 
Yes, Ikazuchi is actually a Pikachu on Earth (the Pokeworld as we know it)--but a Pikachu that can speak human language.

When generating powers, try and keep it in the spirit of a "Sailor Moon" like show.

I'll be playing the role of Ikazuchi, for the record, so that means that whoever takes Karinai will have custody of her

Alter Ego's Powers: Shadow Race: She hides in the shadows and attacks the enemy; Moon Dance; Heals whomever she wishes to heal; Dark Pulse: Shoots balls of darkness formed from her bracelets.
How Awakened: Mysti was walking home from school when she saw a cute yellow thing. When it hid, Mysti naturally chased it. When she finally caught up, it told her about what was going on.

Appearance: Wears long, reaching most of the way down her back, wavy, dirty blonde hair, which is usually unkept, and has bright green eyes. She stands at about 5' 3". She usually wears a school uniform during school days, and otherwise prefers pants over skirts.
Personality: Played out, if I may.
Alter Ego: Karinai
Alter Ego Appearance: Her costume is a white shirt and miniskirt, with yellow trim, with long sleeves that progressively widen and are a bit too long to resemble Jirachi's hands, and two yellow streamers out the back. Her hairstyle changes to a double bun with pigtails hanging from both buns, and a teal tag attached to the bun itself. On her belly is a curved black line like the one on Jirachi's belly. She gains a simple wand with a big star at the end.
Alter Ego Powers: Rather than walk, she can now float a few inches off the ground. Her skin now has the toughness of steel. She gains powerful psychic powers. Wish: A simple wish that can heal anyone she wants. Swift: Fires fast-moving stars out of her wand that are difficult to avoid. Gravity: She can intensify the gravity in the area to bring airborne foes down and immobilize others. Doom Desire: Making a wish for destruction, it takes a moment, but suddenly a massive beam of destructive energy comes down from the heavens.
How Awakened: Arika was putting things away into a storage shed after PE when inside the shed, she spotted a little yellow creature hiding behind a card. Ikazuchi told her to take her home, which Arika did. At home, she was told everything and her powers awoke.

Character's name: Mikurii Endris (if okay with Mewtwo, can she be Mysti's sister?)
Character's age: 12
Appearance: Mikurii has dark red hair and light blue eyes, along with pale skin. Her hair goes down to her shoulders, and it curls upwards at the bottom. Her attire is made up of a brown tee-shirt, with the word 'FREE' is gold letters on it. There are dark brown flowers wrapped around the letters. She also wears old, ripped jeans with rips in her hip, knees and the end of her pant-legs. She has regular, stained white socks and tan slip-on shoes. The shoes have pink stripes and yellow, brown and pink flowers on them. Her jewelry is peridot earrings, a sterling silver dolphin necklace and a dirty rubber band around her wrist.
Personality: Mikurii is good at most sports that invlove hand-eye coordination. She enjoys being with a small group, but gets uncomfortable if with ten or more people. Protective of others younger than her and respectful of those older than her. Mikurii is afraid of water or to go swimming after almost drowning when she was only seven. She feels comfortable in areas where it's snowy or dark, where she finds peace.

Alter Ego's Pokemon: Weavile(this determines elemental, transformation call, and dominant costume color)
Alter Ego's Appearance: Frostura has a red tiara with yellow jewels adorned in it on her head. Her earrings become yellow instead of green, and her necklace turns from a dolphin to a blood-stained icicle. The rubber band around her wrist somehow becomes a braclet with sharp icicles around them. She wears a black dress that goes down to her thighs, ruffled at the end. Red sleeves and leggings that are cut off from the rest of the dress cover her arms and legs. She wears red high-heels. The weapon she carries is a long spear, which is tipped with an extreamly sharp icicle arrowhead.
Alter Ego's Powers: Frostbite: Frostura can make a blizzard start up and give the enemy a mean frostbite or even freeze them.
Midnight's Orb: A large snowball that is black is thrown at the enemy.
Winter's Fury: A number of small sharp icicles are formed from the bracelet and necklace Frostura wears and thrown at the enemy, either paralyzing or stabbing.
Spear of the Northern Demons: Frostura uses her icy spear to stab and wound the enemy horribly, and partially hurts Frostura by having spirits from the North suck some of her energy away.
How Awakened: After school, when Mysti chased after the cute yellow creature, Mikurii decided to follow her sister and see the creature also. The yellow thing then told them both about all that had happened and her powers were awoken.
