• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Blaguarro Town Main Station

Ch02: The Train at Dawn
  • It was late morning by the time the train arrived to Blaguarro. Just as promised, the selected volunteers were awoken by a maus at dawn and were promptly led to the station by Bellatrix where the train rested. Jaak had waited patiently just outside the station with a friendly smile and wave.

The ride, fortunately, remained dull and uneventful. Jaak remained in one piece and there was no hide or scale of any monstrous charmeleon, allowing for plenty of opportunity to plan and idly small-talk. The goal for this trip was simple: gather as many clues as possible pertaining to Terminal Two's whereabouts and whatever security measures might be in place. Then, the team would return and discuss their findings with those in Frontier Town.

When the train came to a stop, all that was left to do was to wait for Jaak to come around and open the car. Instead, a second voice rang out from just outside.

"Ya have a lotta nerve to come back here, city boy!"

Those who had landed in Blaguarro would, unfortunately, recognise it belonging to the gabite Ryder.

"Just doin' my job," replied Jaak, unbothered by the gabite. The side of the car opened, blinding everyone inside with bright morning light.

Bellatrix was the first to hop out, acknowledging Ryder with an unamused stare. The gabite inhaled sharply. "You brought them back!?" he shrieked, voice cracking.

"Yes, wonderful to see you again," Bellatrix replied dryly.

Ch05: The Case of Property Damage
  • Tala watched the town from the railway platform with her arms crossed. In just a few days, so soon after Terminal Two, the town had fallen into a new kind of chaos. Windows had been broken, shingles had been torn from their rooftops to be scattered across the ground, and holes had been punched into walls. Granted, compared to Terminal Two, this was more a minor annoyance, but any attempts to clean up the mess just left an even bigger one the next day. To make matters worse, every time the supposed culprit was sighted, they had flown away before anyone could catch them, leaving them free to cause more damage another day.

Normally, Anite was around to handle these sorts of situations but the aggron had overslept today and the bar was hardly busy during this time, so the kommo-o had decided to conduct some of her own investigations. She had cleaned up the immediate area and waited in an attempt to bait out the perpetrator. She would stay up all night if she had to.

[Ch06] Dave and Jade Discuss Legendaries
  • The party was quiet as they padded back to town. Dave spent a few minutes just marveling at the fact he could finally actually walk at a decent fucking pace.

Once the novelty of that started to wear off, though, he found himself looking back around at his companions. Odette, who'd somehow picked up Moltres's fire, however that fucking worked. And Jade, the lanky Meowth, looked distracted. She'd been practically pleading to soothe and make peace with Moltres, hadn't she. And there was this one thing she'd said, about this not being exactly normal where she was from, which still sounded like it was the sort of thing that could theoretically happen.

He inclined his head towards her. "So, let me guess. You've got 'Saints' in your world?"
