i have figured out how to do inverts.

here's an inverted electrike. i made a few other inverted sprites, but they were terrible.

That looks like a pretty good invert. Blue and green pokemon usually do =)

I'm glad to see we finally have a new spriter who can take crits. You'd be surprised how many noobs think they are better at spriting that others who are making scratch sprites...

As for scratching, you'll eventually be able to do it well. Just keep doing fusions and eventually you will start to know how sprite mechanics work. On that note, here are a few fusion suggestions if you still want some.

Poochyena/Growlithe

Charmeleon/Zangoose

Gardevoir/Darkrai

Those are just a few suggestions, you don't have to do them if you don't want to. I'm not requesting them or anything.

i've been practicing my splices, and i think i've got a good one to show you guys.

i call him gardichu! ain't he cute?

i also did a more difficult recolor for someone on the gtsplus forums. i put a request shop there. i am selling drawings and sprites.

this is giratina with lucario colors. took me a while to do.

for the suggestions you gave me, the zangoose/charmeleon one sounds tough, but i think i can pull off the others. most of my splices in my request shop have been dealing with gardevoir.

The gardechu- That's actually a really hard fusion to do anything more with, at least in that pose of pikachu's. So for what you had to work with, that looks pretty good. I like the giratina- you know how to do the eraser coloring trick, correct? If not, that will make recoloring go faster.

for the eraser trick, i have no clue what you're talking about. would you care to explain?

Well, it's used in recoloring. Here is an old tutorial I made that has an explanation in it. I hope you find it useful!

thanks! it was a little confusing for me at first, but i got it. i'll use it in the next recolor i do.
