...So therefore is not EV trained.

But I've battled three times, lost twice and tied once, so I'm thinking of redoing it.

Any tips? EDIT: I've revamped the team a bit, and need new reviews. Might I add my gym is going to be Double Battle?

I've been told that the plates aren't the best hold items.

Flygons are usually Jolly, from what I've seen. Tyranitar looks fine, but Nasty Plot raises Sp. Attack, and you have your Houndoom with three physical attacks... so I don't see where you were going there, that and Houndoom is a great special attacker. Lucario looks fine, maybe not Future Sight on Gardevoir, put Dark Pulse or Shadow Ball on that instead. Perhaps have Surf or Hydro pump on Vaporeon for Blizzard, due only to its inaccuracy. Again on Flygon, maybe you want Stone Edge or Earthquake instead of Hyper Beam, but that's me. Flash Fire is way better on Houndoom. That's all I can really think of.

zack: remember this is crystal league, where they aren't EV trained, so natures don't matter quite as much.

but yeah, what he said. also, don't use multiple attacking moves of the same type. (unless one is calculated specially, or course.) try not to rely on your opponent's moves.

Meh; my Houndoom was a gift from someone anyways =P

All advice taken, though, I only put the Plates on there dur to not having much else better; this is my first competitive team anyways, so... yeah.

(POSTNINJA'D!)

And I was also going for the STAB.

you'd do well to have life orb on every single one of them, if you can somehow get that many.

Leftovers would be great as a second option, especially on Vaporeon.

As for moves...

Lucario learns Dragon Pulse by level - probably more useful than Copycat considering you have Mild nature.

Faint Attack will always do an equal or lesser amount of damage than Dragon Claw, unless they made a Psychic/Ghost type... Earthquake or Earth Power would be great if you can get one of them. I would almost never recommend Hyper Beam - Fire Blast (or Flamethrower) is likely to be more beneficial.

...what exactly is Crystal League?

Maybe Nasty Plot could be replaced with Howl, maybe? I don't know. Since it's adamant and that lowers special attack you could do that. Copycat and Future Sight should be replaced, I think. Maybe Shadow Ball on Gardevior and Earthquake on Lucario. I'm not sure either, but I think leftovers would be good on Vaporeon or Gardevior, Life Orb is good too. Wish could work on Gardevior I think, to heal and especially if you get some Life Orbs. I'm not sure how good my ideas are, but I hope they're useful.

You might also want to Replace Hyper Beam on Flygon. Not that Hyper Beam isn't a good move, it's just it has its drawbacks. I would suggest Earthquake or Thunderpunch, only because a lot of ice-type pokemon are also water-type. Wish could be useful, but what would you replace? Like what Mustardear said, Lucario learns Dragon Pulse, so that might be useful too.

Leftovers are awesome for vaporeon, because it already has a crapton of hit points, so your opponent will do some damage, then you'll get it back. Also, the Shell Bell Might be useful for Vaporeon seeing as though it is great with sp. attack, and the hit points recovered are relative to how much damage is dealt, and you'll be doing some damage. Life Orb would be good for Tyrannitar because of is already insane attack stat, to increase that by thirty percent... that would be terrifying. For Lucario and/or Houndoom, you could give them the muscle band, which increases the power of physical moves. for Flygon you could give it a focus item, in case you are forced to fight an ice-type pokemon, you might live. For Gardevoir... maybe the wise glasses or something? I'm really lost there. But like sresservoir said, a Life Orb would be good for all, if you can manage to make six of them.

@ Dragonair: I'll take those moves into deep consideration. And my Gardevoir is based off of an RP charrie I made... =P

@ Zackrinian: Those move/item suggestions are great; I, however, do not have a Muscle Band.

Use Lefties for Vaporeon, not Shell Bell. Leftovers practically always gives better recovery than Shell Bell.

If you want Flygon to try to survive an ice attack, give it a Yache Berry instead of a Focus Sash (Band is horrendously unreliable and usually banned, anyway), since SR ruins the sash. But then again, you wouldn't want to keep Flygon out against an ice-type so Life Orb is the best option.

Outrage on Tyranitar isn't really a good idea, as it'll get locked into the move and get confused afterwards. Anyway, practically all the dragons you'll face will be part flying, so Stone Edge will outdamage Outrage anyway. Consider Crunch or Aqua Tail.

you can buy one at the battle frontier, if you have Diamaond/Pearl/Platinum.

If you have Hg/Ss, your mom buys it eventually for you.

The frontier is only in Platinum, and I lost mine a long time ago T.T

And I'll be getting SS soon, but nopt soon enough for my battle team upgrade TT.TT

@Blazhie: Hmm, never thought sbout that... I do have Yache Berrios, and I really don't know if I have a Life Orb though, and am too lazy to check XD

OHHH IM DOUBLE POSTONG OOOOOO

But I've revamped my team a bit, and I want to know what you think. I'm gonna go get my DS and edit the first post.
