• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

I decided to try spriting, and these are my first ones. Please tell me what you think of them.

My newest one. Kyquazadon, A splice of groudon, Kyogre, and Raquaza.

Sorry to have to say this, but the Pikachu Pokeball is the best looking.
Pichukachu's tail looks like it isn't connected to the body, and the ears look a bit pasted on.
Fire type Articuno's shading vanished, and the legs/feet/face don't have the same style, so they really stand out. Maybe if you added flame-y like things to it somewhere.
Ice type Moltres looks ok, but really, it's just colored blue. As with the Articuno, you should add icecycles to it or something.
Kyquazadon is very, very Rayquaza-y a good tip with multiple pokemon splices is this: choose one for the base, one for most of the parts, and the other for some parts and colors.

All in all, they look very good for a first time spriter.

It's still pretty good. My first X ammount of sprites didn't get past simple re-colors

I'd recommend mixing something with Voltorb. Plenty of Pokes mix well with it (such as Geodude or Scizor).
