After much fucking about trying to get the damn sound and picture up on screen the Nintendo 64 I bought back in December is finally in working order :D It took me two SCART leads to get there, but now my insatiable retro obsession has been whetted slightly =3

If anyone has any game suggestions I'd appreciate it :D

Games I own at the moment: Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Loz:Ocarina of Time

Games I intend to get: LoZ: Majora's Mask, Banjo Tooie, Paper Mario, Yoshi's Story, Pokémon Snap, Pokémon Stadium 1 and/or 2, Kirby 64, Lylat Wars (Starfox 64)
 
Get Super Smash Bros. I don't know why that isn't on your list.

EDIT: OMG 666 posts.

But yeah, get SSB64. It is very fun, and is a nice break from Brawl and Melee every now and then.

Must have forgotten it ^^;; I was thinking of it, but then I thought it might just seem like Brawl, only relatively more crap.
 
I personally couldn't go back once I played Brawl. I was the same way with Melee.

I suggest Jet Force Gemini, Goldeneye and Perfect Dark.

Just because something is old doesn't mean its obsolete. :< We still play Pokemon R/B/Y and G/S/C, don't we? Besides, 64 is a different enough game from Brawl and Melee to warrant having.

I do agree with Goldeneye. Unfourtunately, I have only foggy memories of it. To relive my childhood again...

Maybe check out Mario Party 1-3. They were the best games in the series. After 4 they started to go downhill.

Other than that...Definitely get the Kirby one. ^^
 
Ooh, I love Pokemon Snap. :D It's really good, if a little limited. I don't really know much about N64 or old games though, so I don't know any others to suggest. XD

Hoorah! I hate it when old systems stop working, they're often more fun to play mainly because of the nostalgia factor, I find~
 
Perfect Dark is a very fun game, it's pretty much a different version of Goldeneye 007, but improved in some aspects.

Heck, get them both if you can. They're a good example of how first-person shooters USED to be...
 
Turns out some of these games are damn expensive... I checked Amazon and eBay and pretty much the cheapest copies of Banjo Tooie, Paper Mario and kirby 64 I can find are around the £40 mark x.x

Still, thanks for the suggestions everyone, I'll keep them in mind :3
