.: Negrek vs Kratos Aurion :: Round Six :.
1vs1
DQ: Standard week
Damage Cap: None
Banned Moves: Everything but metronome!
Arena: Willow Town
Willow Town is a tragically quaint, pleasant sort of place, which explains how it manages to attract so many murderers, thieves, and really stupid trainers. Its main street is like something out of an old movie: broad and well-kept, lined on either side by little mom-'n'-pop stores, including a bakery, the delicious scents from which waft out into the road. Large willow trees, their dangling fronds swaying gently in an almost imperceptible breeze, run in line with the sidewalks, and the pedestrians strolling around greet one another with cheerful smiles and waves. There's almost no street traffic, so the battlers don't have to worry about getting squashed--unless, of course, something nasty goes down at the lab again and necessitates the intrusion of speeding police cars and ambulances on their way to see whether Professor Willow's managed to get out of this one alive.

.: Actions :.
In the distance, one can hear the wailing of sirens, made even easier to hear with the lack of human activity around the battle. The trainers, however, pay them no heed; they shout their orders as usual, even encouraging more destruction.
Aldonza, as usual, is the first to make a move, waving her hands rhythmically. As usual, a white glow envelops her arms… which then turns yellow-green, and extends out from her arms. The lights resemble some sort of blades, curving inward toward each other.
She opens her arms and runs at Silver, as if prepared to give him a lethal glomp with her new bladed arms, but stops short, slashing through shell and exposed flesh with both blades at once. Though the golden shield around him slows the descent of the blades, Aldonza manages to slice an X shape in his skin and shell. Silver hisses, stepping back.
That won’t stop him, however – he finds himself, again, fully capable of moving his arms. His arms don’t even get locked up as he waves them in the air, closing his eyes to get a better feel for the rhythm. He doesn’t see his hands glow, but he feels the change, and something stirs within him.
Still with his eyes closed, Silver opens his mouth, whispering something under his breath that Aldonza can’t hear. His voice becomes louder with every word, though, and it’s not long before Aldonza can hear the general sound. She realises, with slight surprise, that Silver is singing – but this is nothing like Silver’s voice. Instead his voice is deep, deeper than any voice she’s ever heard before. The haunting melody fills her ears, drowning out any other sound or thought. Dread rises within her, and she scrambles backward, unable to look away.
Silver’s song finally comes to an end, but both of them can still faintly hear the melody reverberating through their minds. Even Silver shudders at the memory of the song, barely able to believe that it was he who sang of their horrible fate.
Aldonza swallows, then slowly uses another Metronome, more hesitant than usual. As she continues waving her hands, her negative thoughts are wiped away, if only for the moment, replaced instead by cheerfulness. She can’t keep her feelings inside – she just has to shout it to the world! Jumping up and down and waving her hands wildly, she cheers for Silver, encouraging him and applauding all of his previous actions, citing his Dark Void and ability to heal from the damage her worst attack yet managed to deal to him. His song was sung so beautifully, conveying such a deep message that she holds in her heart, that she feels she’ll never forget. Silver stares, confused and a little embarrassed – was he really that good, so much that he impressed his opponent? And she’s even encouraging him, saying that he should call something like Draco Meteor down because it would be so much better if he did it. Yes, he thinks, maybe he really is that awesome. He’ll show it, by
… having his muscles lock up on him, apparently. He tries to wiggle his arms just a little, but they’re completely frozen in place, and he’s too tired to really struggle against it. Aldonza’s continued cheering just embarrasses him further – she’s cheering him on for nothing! Aldonza stops cheering, though she still wears a stupidly wide smile, and stares at Silver expectantly, eyes full of hope. But he still can’t do anything, and when the effects of the Metronome begin to wear off, she starts giggling.
Silver would scowl if he still had the control over his facial muscles – was she mocking him? Was she just playing with his emotions the whole time, waiting for him to fail?
Ignoring his rising anger, Aldonza waggles her hands, disturbing the threads of reality once more. Like before, her hands glow white, but the light then turns green – although it’s a different shade of green than before, richer and deeper. The light flows over the rest of her body, faint enough to see her clearly save for her hands. Then the light grows brighter and brighter, hiding Aldonza behind her green aura.
Silver doesn’t wait for her to finish charging up her attack, instead using his own Metronome in hope of interrupting it and getting back at her for mocking him. Something powerful, but perhaps not so much that he can’t launch his attack before she can. Or, if it is possible for it to be stronger than hers, he wouldn’t mind – actually, that would be preferable, but he doesn’t want to be interrupted. If he can manage it, maybe just his last attack, so powerful that he can’t stand after using it but enough to greatly hurt Aldonza, he’ll be content. He wishes with all his heart that it will be something great and terrible, something that might utterly destroy her.
He feels himself growing more tired by the second, and his skin glitters, silver sparkles surrounding him. The sparkles vanish a moment later, and Silver is left completely drained of energy, and he sways, barely able to stand. His entire body feels weak, just about ready to collapse, but he’s still capable of standing, and he’s not unconscious yet… though it feels like he will be soon, as if the rest of his energy is leaking away just because he’s standing.
It is then that Aldonza’s green aura rolls outward along the ground, crawling up the walls and covering the trees, but flowing under Silver’s feet harmlessly. The entire world around him glows green, but then the light vanishes.
Except for the glow around the grass, and the willow trees (both the dead and living), and even the scattered shoots from the attack he’d launched himself. Silver notices this, but he can’t bring himself to care beyond being mildly nervous. He’s just so tired that he can’t focus on anything else anymore…
Not even when the young shoots burst into life once more, roots tearing through the pavement and long, thick vines tearing out the other end. The vines whip at Silver mercilessly, even the blade of grass join in, growing impossibly long and bending over to reach him, slicing at him with their tips. The nearest trees grow up and outward, branches tearing through the nearest walls, and even bend over toward Silver, slamming him with their branches. Silver barely feels the assault, vaguely acknowledging it but unable to really care about the plants assaulting his body. Even when thrown through the air, he doesn’t process the fact until he’s lying facedown on the ground, and when a vine picks him up by the leg and drops him, he doesn’t even scream.
Then the vines go limp, and the trees straighten again, though still slightly bent toward Silver. The grasses, unable to support their own weight, fall to the ground, draping over the cracked and battered road. Though Silver was unable to notice, it wasn’t only the attacking plants that were affected by Aldonza’s attack – the grass all around the street is overgrown, and all of the trees in the area have been restored to life – just not to the same extent.

Arena:
- Holes through the pavement dot the road, piercing even much of the dirt below. Broken branches and chunks of wood lie all around the street amongst splinters, and the buildings surrounding the street also have several holes in them, mostly around the ceilings, although many walls are severely damaged. Around the outside regions of the arena, there are some fresh corpses and fainted pokémon.
- Long vines are strewn all around Silver, roots digging through the pavement toward the soil underneath. The grass is severely overgrown, ridiculously so around Silver; the grass is so long that a blade reaches halfway across the street, collapsed under its own weight. The willow trees appear perfectly healthy but oversized, the tallest of them around Silver.
