• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Nyan Cat Land

My first piece of descriptive writing on this site. The idea originates from The Wish Game, in Forum Games. Credit to Spunky for some ideas. (Look at my Location field.)
I wish for a pig.
Granted, but it eats all your food and then you have to eat it to survive the harsh winters of the land of nyan cat.

Okay, here goes.

Look into the skies very, very late at night. There is just a tiny chance you might see a faint, rainbow-coloured comet whizzing through the stars. That is no comet - it is Nyan Cat Land, a little unknown planet/country whizzing through the stars at high speed. With a super-telescope, you might be able to see all the buildings and the little people running around doing their business. You would have to be up there to see that the little people were cats, a bit like Meowth. Rainbows jumped across the sky. Volcanoes blew out pink icing. Every little cat was content as could be.

But that was in Spring and Summer. In autumn, it started whizzing a bit slower. Volcanoes erupted less often. Rainbows were losing their colour. Not half as many cats were out there as in the earlier seasons. The cotton-candy trees were turning brown. At Nyan Halloween, the sky turns black. It stays like that until autumn and winter ends. Oh, and how terrible those winters were! The little gingerbread houses were fully inhabited, surrounded by piles of icy snow. Food was scarce. One cat even had to eat their dearest pig to survive.

(Remember this, Spunky?)

Anyways, give me feedback and stuff. If I get enough replies, I'll carry on writing.

This is silly.

I kind of like it though, but it needs to be fleshed out a little more.
Maybe I could do it?
Anyway, the idea is interesting.
