I'm 1/2 on my predictions of people's identities: I guessed Makoto being MF, but I thought Natsue was Butterfree, not Ephemera
Good game, y'all! A bit sad that it went kinda short with so many people being away for most of it, but there's always next time I suppose
 
Awww, there were a lot of fun ideas in this setup that didn't end up seeing the light of day properly. Great job on the setup and flavor! It was a lot of fun while it lasted, and I would've loved to play a longer game where more things got to come into play.

i read this and was like "this is mewt right"

(a) setup speculation that nobody's going to confirm
my speculation with the knowledge of 1 town+2 mafia curse stone conditions was that town curse stones could be activated by that person without needing other people, but mafia curse stones needed other people to do something for them

(b) a very specific thing i was looking for that didn't turn up any results
the thing i was looking for was any reactions d1 on tetsuo. because i thought that maybe the mafia would tell each other their curse stone conditions and so they would help fulfill the reactions quota
 
Hi everyone! Keldeo here with some post-game thoughts...
  • Congrats to town! I won't address social gameplay here, but I did want to mention some of the setup decisions that played a role in the outcome of the first day/night (close to the best possible mechanical position for town, in my view). We included several swingy factors that town used to great effect, such as the desperado condition and backup being able to steal the mafia rolecop role. Also, a couple post restrictions were unintentionally much easier or harder than anticipated - this is entirely my fault for overestimating how active the game would be (despite Eifie's objections, I thought 20 would be a fair number of reactions for someone to get in a day, oops).
  • Since the game did not run as long as we had hoped, some roles didn't get to do as much with their results or conditions. I hope seeing all the role PMs gives a sense of the game we intended you to be able to play! If you liked something about the setup, it was probably Eifie's idea 😁
  • Finally, have an enthusiastic plug for Paranormasight: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo! If you have any interest in mystery visual novels, I'd recommend the original game unconditionally - it has a unique aesthetic, fun characters, and some cool puzzles. It was a complete coincidence that a sequel ended up being announced midgame, but I'm super excited! (Also, there are easter eggs and/or lines cribbed from the game in almost every bit of flavor, haha. If you've played Paranormasight, let me know which you spotted.)

One last logistical note: Feel free to keep your anon accounts, but please change the email and password as soon as you can - the emails were temporary accounts that no longer exist.
