• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Prom Night

spaekle

emotionless and cold as ice
What, you think I actually went to prom? Hell no!

Instead, my friends and I all went out and screwed around downtown. We went to the Center for the Arts and Sciences and bought tickets for the art gallery, where they currently have an exhibit on Sci-Fi movie costumes. The gallery itself didn't have much, but there was this awesome piece by Andy Warhol.

We also screwed around with the little "let's play with science!" things they have set up for kids - we pulled ourselves up on the pulley chairs, balanced balls on the water fountains, annoyed the hell out of everyone with the air blaster drum and sat at the (currently pirate-themed) activity table and made pirate flags with markers. We rather effectively pissed off most of the parents there. :B

When that place closed, we went to this kickass sushi bar, where we each ordered something and then rotated our plates so we all ended up sharing with each other. The eel and cucumber rolls were aaaawesome. Good sushi is hard to find around here; I need to remember this place. We ran around the mall for a while too, and I bought some candy, but not much else happened.

Now I'm in for the rest of the night, presumably to eat candy, watch the rest of the Torchwood box set my friend lent me, and play Pogeymans. I'd say prom night for me is pretty damn good. :V

Lucky; my mom's making me go to the damn prom.
All it usually winds up being (my school has it open for all high school years) is me sitting around and eating whatever the food is and trying to drown out the horrid rap music with my iPod.

Either way, sounds like an awesome night for you.

I would have gone to the prom - you can do that stuff any other night!

Still, glad you had fun.
