Suggestions Scratch Sprites of *doomz*

Mad MOAI

Actually more of a harmour fan
My scratching isn't the best, but it's not that bad, and I'd like to know how to improve even more!

These are all FR/LG sized (64x64), but I'm planning to make DP-sized ones soon. The FR/LG ones, unless otherwise stated, are being used in a fangame, Pokemon Aotearoa. (Yes! Finally got it right~ :D

Please give me quick critique!

OK firstly I can see the eyes are rather dead looking. The whole sprite looks like it was made of cardboard and stuck on a white wall, more shading would help. Either the legs or the body is the wrong angle, the body seems to be leaning back as if sitting on something unseeable.

Once again there is the cardboard on paper problem. The outline is a little wonky in some places and the creature seems to be standing on it's tail. The head seems too big for the body and the tail maybe should be longer?[depends on the dinosaur] Again the eyes aren't like eyes, more like a holes.

Ornado:

ON this one you have done a fine job on 3Dness but the outline is more crokked than the others above. The shading on the white seems strange and I don't know why it's blue. Eyes problem again.

Sharpoon:

Decnetly 3D but the part of the body that you can't see doesn't seem to fit with the other end. The eyes are better but still need work. It might use a little more shading.

Leaflare:

Ugh, back to the 2D stuff. You seem to have focused mainly on colouring the body like fire and have somewhat ignored shading on the leaf but a little bit. The eye is strange but at least an eye.

Leaferno:

If this is the evo to Leaflare then it doesn't look like it. OK people say make the evolutions look very different to the original but this is too much. It has no real thing the same but the leaf. It's even got the fiery stuff coloured differently.

@Qwail: It's supposed to have four wings, and it's supposed to look dead. It's a Dark/Flying type. It's facing slightly away from us, if you look at the hips.
@Tycano: That's how its creator designed it; I only sprited it. The feet are behind the tail *points* and since it's a Pokemon, I think the head is allowed to be too big (think Torchic).
@Ornado: The outline was fixed on a different sprite, I just didn't want to steal. The shading isn't blue, that's a whole different color.
@Sharpoon: thanks.
@That was one of my earlier sprites, so I'll try to resprite it.
@Leaferno: The idea was to make it look like a Leaflare that caught fire.

Thanks for the critique that's not mentioned.

I'm planning to make D/P sized sprites for them out of your critique.

EeveeSkitty, I designed the Tycano and the head is meant to be big because it's based on a T-Rex and T-Rex heads are huge compared to their bodys but they have small front arms and huge back legs.
