normally I'm not really into making birthday threads but I've actually had a fantastic birthday which consisted of eating and receiving AWESOME gifts like um a limited edition box set of one of my favourite bands with signed stuff, four cds, a huge pad of watercolour paper, a new book, and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember.
and it really means a whole lot because this is the first birthday I've had since I was very young that I've celebrated with my friends because for the most part I feel very socially uncomfortable hosting parties. And the fact that I did this year and it was so much fun makes me feel ... mature, I suppose. I don't feel like an adult (and I don't know if I ever will) but I feel like I've grown a lot and I feel like I'm ready to put the past... year or so behind me.
So thankyou to everyone who stopped by and said happy birthday, thankyou to everyone who did neither but has stopped by to say hello in the past and thankyou to all the friends I have here and on #tcod. I feel like with all the problems I've had offline I've always been able to find a friend here.
