• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

So I'm writing my computer science exam in like 10 minutes.

I'm sittin' on the computer waiting for the instructor to pass the exam out. I wish he'd just hurry up... the faster he gives us the test, the faster I can get out of here and get something to eat. It's the lab exam, so it should be practical stuff and not theory, but I have a feeling it won't be... Oh well. Anyway, logging out now. I'll post when I get home or something and let you guys know exactly how badly I pwn><0r3d this test. :D

That is all.

P.S. - Yeah, I'm basically just wasting time 'cause I'm bored and tired of waiting. You probably knew that though.

Good luck!! :D

Know that no matter how you do, you'll have done a million time better than I could've.

So... I did terribly. I got 24/25. I lost that point due to to both unclear directions and the fact that in order to do what he ACTUALLY meant would require using things we weren't taught (I could have without a problem, but I usually lose marks for such crazy antics). I'm really disappointed in myself. So there goes my perfect 100% in the lab portion :'(

Either way, this part of the class is worth 10% of the total grade, so that might help my final mark a bit... After all, 0.1% isn't going to matter on my overall mark in the class.

So yeah... test is done. You can ignore this topic now xD

It was on C++ mostly, with a tiny section on *nix commands - We used Solaris 9 on the lab computers and had to know how to get around in it, so thats why we had that little part. I've programmed before, and I've used *nix operating systems (Including Solaris, albeit a later version), so I already knew what I was doing more or less.
