Good news, folks!

I finally started my crusade to get a PS3.

I found one for £200 in Amazon (60GB which means my PS2 games won't go to waste) and I currently have £60 which was supposed to be my GH: world Tour fund.

I have a £20 weekly allowance plus a babysitter's job which pays £10, which means I can keep the £20 and not starve which means I can get £80 before we break up. Plus assuming all goes well in Christmas and my birthday I may be able to collect £40+. And if I find a job that gives me the remaining £20. And if that happens I can pay my mom the £200 and she can buy the PS3 using her card.

HAPPY DAYS.

Wish me luck guys!

Woah, that's awesome~

£20 a week? Christ. I get £50 and I have to pay for everything.*insanely jealous*

Good luck with it :D

First day and I got away with spending nothing. Hopefully I can keep this up until the end of term.

Well done~ Uh, here are my hints for spending no money:
Don't go out. Anywhere. Or go out as little as possible.
Always eat at home and bring snacks with you so you don't have to buy food.
Try and scrounge lifts from parentals/friend's parentals so you don't have to pay for buses/trains.
Avoid going on amazon or eBay. If you're anything like me, you'll end up spending stupid amounts of money on shiny-looking things that you don't really need.
Sell your old games that you're never really gonna play again - sure they make your collection look more impressive, but if you don't use it, you don't need it.

Good luck :D

Great news!

My first week and I now have £90! I only spent the extra change my mom gives me. Hopefully I can raise £200 before next year.

aww no way 200? I got mine for way more than that! The APSC (Australian PlayStation Company) ripped me off. You got a good deal there.

And the moral of the story is to buy a month after Christmas. That's when all the sales are.
