This is almost able to go in the Main Series section, since Platinum is just about to come out.

I was lucky enough to get a Regigigas from the Japanese event in the GTS a while back. (Someone wanted a Bidoof of any level or gender:unsure:) I know it is legit because it says "Pokemon Movie 08 ; Apparently had a fatefull encounter at level 100", it was caught with a cherish ball, and it was holding a Custap Berry.

So my question is, should anyone just happen to know the answer, will this Regigigas unlock Regice, Regirock, and Registeel when I trade it to Platinum?
Would be interesting if it unlocked them in Japanese...
 
The one thing that's bothering me is the Pokemon Movie 08 thing... Regigigas was in the eleventh movie, so unless they're reffering to the year (which they probably are), it's hacked. If it's even possible to hack that.

...On second though never mind what I just said. As to whether it would unlock the events, most likely.
 
I used my English movie Shaymin to get the Gracidea Flower in my Japanese Platinum. It will probably work if it is actually legit.
