• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

With the rumble of thunder and a slight drizzle, the juggernaut went to the previous annual Konga picnic and yelled, "Dramatic Infinity: SUMMON PINEAPPLE!"

Calvin skewered three chunks of pineapple and slipped the sweet kebab into a large, fruit-infused drink. He added a drizzle of lime juice and slid the powerful concoction down the bar to yet another drunken tourist. He propped his head on his hand, leaned on his elbow on a corner of the bar, and sighed. He wanted to do so much more with his life. Instead, he was left serving alcohol with silly names to idiots in floral shirts, all set to badly recorded conga (correct spelling) music. At least, he thought to himself, it was better than his previous job as a fry cook.

Another call came from the bar for a Mighty Volcano. He robotically mixed the drink, slid it across the bar, then flopped down in a folding chair. He looked out the window and gave a dramatic sigh as his eyes drank in the blue infinity of the ocean. If only he could summon the courage–and the money–to go to college, he would become a marine biologist. It was what he wanted in life, to be able to view the beautiful inhabitants of the sea.

Suddenly, he spotted something amidst the crashing waves. A ripple of water, as though in a still pond. He looked away. It had to have been a mirage. He had probably been around the bar for too long. Just to be sure, though, he looked back. More ripples cascaded through the waves, as though they were two different sets of motion. Suddenly, a huge shape burst through the water. Calvin looked in awe as the robotic whale slowly rose into the air. The juggernaut was a cruel prank on the grace of the blue whale–It was an algae-choked steel, with glowing red eyes that could stare into a man's soul. A group of tourists abandoned their half-eaten picnic and fled, though the robot paid no attention to them.

It emitted a low rumble as it turned to face Calvin.
