• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Yay I have a functional laptop again.

My laptop's screen crapped out due to a defect several months ago so my sister and mom took it up to Best Buy like 3-ish weeks ago, and Best Buy sent it out to Hewlett-Packard to fix it under our warranty. But somewhere in that process my charger was lost, so when my laptop came in the mail it didn't really matter because I couldn't use it since I couldn't charge it. So I ordered a new charger online, and it arrived and it turned out to be incompatible with my laptop despite what the website said, so that pissed me off, so I ordered a second charger and it arrived today and it works.

Long story short, I finally have my laptop back after like three months of having to use my sister's. So I can use iTunes and Skype and shit again. It's nice.

Gah, I know exactly how it feels to not own the computer you use. My laptop charger crapped out a while ago, so I defuncted to my Dad's old desktop, which then broke, so now I'm flitting between my Dad and my Granny's laptop, totally unable to download anything. It's really inconvenient, and I can't wait to get one for myself again.

So, congratulations.
