• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

  • I find it OK. Ramuh looks awesome in it :3 Plus it hooked me into the series so it can't be all bad ^^
I should get round to playing more XII, I only got up to the bit right after the Rogue Tomato. But I don't seem to play PS2 games very much these days for some reason :< *wonders when the last time he played KH2 was*
    Let's see...

FFXII: Revenant Wings (my first ever FF game, nearly completed it I think), FFIII DS, FF8, FFXII and FF Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time. (Barely started the last two :3)
I don't think Epitaph gives EXP or Gil anyway. The copies of your characters it makes do though.

And I got about as many random encounters in the Desert Palace as in Oeilvert. Including a very memorable drawn out struggle with a Mustard Bomb-loving Drakan who it never occurred to me to cast Lv5 Death on -.-
My strategy guide just said "yeah cast Life lol". So I did and he just went "Graaaar" and died :3

Epitaphs also go right down if you use a Soft on them.
I tried fighting it on Disc 2. I failed horriby xD

But yeah, once you get it open and you have a stock of Antidotes or most of your party have Antibody there's very little it can do to you, provided you don't make it close again.
    :<
Well I got them up eventually ^^ And Freya managed to survive fighting Tantarian at her puny lv17 anyway~
    Yes, Cannon was ANNOYING.
Luckily Steiner had the Blood Sword so he made back most of half his HP. Which at the time was not much but eh. I hated coming back on Disc 3 to find Steiner and Freya at lv17 x.X
=O They look so sweet in my strategy guide. (Yeah I got one shhh)

Did you ever notice Armstrongs have a Gimme Cat on their weather vanes?
I just love the fact that it's a clown chef. xD
And Lv5 Death is very handy if you can't be bothered messing about with Grimlocks, which I found rather tedious =)
I never bothered eating that many frogs... Frog Drop'd maybe do 300 damage if I used it.

    Also Lv5 Death is win.
    ^^
Anyway turns out the game was listed on eBay as Final Fantasy VII, but in the picture and the item description it's VIII. Doh =<
