my sources have told me that you're failing to pick up the most plain of clues. This has left me with two options, and I am more than ready to take either one.

The former of these options is that you are entirely annhilated. Sorry, pal, that's just how it has to be. Earth is getting a tad overpopulated at this point, and getting rid of a single, unobservant fool would probably be a good way to fix that problem. One unobservant fool at a time, I tell you.

The latter of these options is for me to write this letter. It is clear which option I've taken first; I only told you of the other to scare you into behaving. You know what happens if you ignore the next paragraph.

Oooh okay. That kinda sucks! You can try being bold and just telling him! I mean, it'll be scary and maybe kinda awkward but it is better than trying t drop hints that he doesn't see or second guesses. His self-esteem issues is probably why he doesn't see it.
