  • Yeah, sorry. I would've been done yesterday, but my mom kicked me off for an hour, and then told me to go to bed.
    :sweatdrop: :sweatdrop: :sweatdrop:
Go! Go! Go! Judge! Judge! Judge! Gooooooooooooo Lucas Go!

... almost done yet? *is impatient*
You're so mean! ;_; Just kidding. I get more comments from my sister.

I was 4-5 years old when I had it.

The site that I went to said 5-6 feet as adults.
Of course, it was Wikipedia. Which can suck.
I hadn't realized that everything harmful to things had to show immediately or else it's okay!

Just because they're not going to die immediately doesn't mean you're not harming them.

Mice smell awful and are too freaking territorial. Why would you want to have them as pets? Rats or gerbils are much better, although having multiple gerbils isn't a good idea, either. Still, less likely to be supposedly friendly and then go back to drowning each other because apparently two mice can't share a 3' x 6' x 3' cage.

Five feet? Rarely. Ball pythons tend to stop growing at around three or four feet and it takes them about two years to get that big.
Really. Well. I've gotta go say sorry to some dead frogs. Ahem.

Well, because if my mom hated it when I had a mouse, then imagine what she'd be like with a 5 foot python around.
Somehow I don't think killing frogs is a good idea. Your hands have toxins on them that would hurt the frog since amphibian skin absorbs a hell of a lot more than mammal skin or reptile skin or so many other things. Why the hell would you want to hold one? Also, they can't really jump that far and do you really want to terrify the poor guy? Just... no. Don't do that. It's like feeding bread or lettuce to birds. BAD IDEA. Actually, don't feed bread or lettuce to anything.

    ... o.O Why?
Sure you can! Just, yaknow, put him on your hand and let him hop around! I guess.

Python?! That would be cool, but my mom would never agree to that! Plus, I like mammals more.
You can't play with frogs, either.

Go for a ball python. They're easy to take care of, small, and friendly.
    Interesting.
A frog would be cool too. I like just about every animal except for fish. You can't play with fish! D=
Well, yes, they're related to poison dart frogs. However, both darts and mantellas get their poison by eating small insects that eat certain poisonous plants. No poisonous plants means no poisonous food means no poisonous frogs. They keep their poison for about three months after they've stopped eating the right things, and anyway most dart frogs and mantellas are captive-bred because the herp hobbyist community as a whole dislikes poachers trying to get rich off of frogs that are rare in the wild. It's quite hard to get wild-caught herps, really, much to everyone's benefit.
In a box. He can - and sometimes does - jump out of the box, but he likes his box so he usually stays in it.

Mantellas are related to poison dart frogs. Unlike Dendrobatids, however, mantellas are a bitch to keep alive. Trust me on this. Poison dart frogs? No trouble! Mantellas? Die randomly.
    In a cage? Or free-roaming?

Funny you would mention sugar gliders, I just looked them up. I'd heard of them, but never knew anything about them. They're kinda cute. But I can almost guarantee hat my mom would not like it.
    *Goes to look up Mantella*
I keep my duck in my house! It works out well. I got him at a reptile show. ... yeah.

They're harder to keep as pets than sugar gliders or mantellas or something. I'd highly suggest reconsidering.
Where do you keep a duck? Or get one? I only rarly hear of people having pet ducks.
I've never heard that about hedgehogs, maybe I'll have to reconsider...
He's an Indian Runner duck and quite easy to take care of~

Don't get a hedgehog. Hedgehogs are not meant to be pets: they're notoriously difficult to keep alive and they're never happy.
You have a duck? That's awesome! I've always wondered what it would be like to have one.
I've never seen a duck with that coloration, what kind is he?
I don't have any pets. I used to have a couple cats, but they died. But I'm nagging my mom to let me get a hedgehog.
    Not a problem~~

Weather is fine! Good enough that I took my duck outside for a while~ Ken is a very pretty duck.
also hey look a pic where I am trying to feed the ducky duck~~
