Poke, I'm going to college. It is completely different than what you are used to (for instance, writing essays for gym class. O_O). The building you go to is an artificial environment of the world, whereas where I'm going is a real environment of the real world.

According to what I heard, you may be tempted to skip class because, apparently, nobody— and I mean NOBODY— cares about your grades; if you miss a certain amount of classes of a certain subject, they'll kick you out of the class; you may get a pile of assignments from various subjects that are all due on the same day and there's no extension; and a lot more. It sounds scary, yes, but I've yet to experience being a college boy. I hope my time on college grounds will be better than the information I've been hearing about what it's like.

I am not trying to scare you at all, Poke; be aware that this is what I heard what college is like and I could be wrong about some parts of it (but I doubt it). Nonetheless, be happy with what you have right now and make it last. I really envy you, Poke.
