ranting doesn't really get things accomplished very well.

the mafia here is a dynamic metagame without formal authority; thus, in the current environment, the solution to "the logic is messed up" is to break the logic by exploiting it. once you've done so, the metagame will needs correct for it.

but metagaming is as much a part of the game as rational logic -- you can't just bring external experiences unless you can actually frame it in such a way that the metagame will accept it. (protip: "you're all insane" does not really bring people to your side.)
