• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

    What are you watching?

*bump* Been going through The Office (American version). Can't believe I've waited this long to finally watch it. It's fantastic! (Currently on season 7!) I finished the first season, it is so good! Can't wait for season 2.

    Calculus II

Wow, I'm planning to take Calculus II as well, I think, at a community college. The AP Calculus exam was all right, I suppose. Dunno if I did well though xD

    Languages

I'm fluent in English and I speak and read Arabic rather well (writing needs a bit of practice). As for French, my writing skills are all right. When it comes to reading, I can read rather well but I wouldn't understand any of it. Speaking is just a disaster.

    Eye Color

My eyes were originally brown, but as I grew older, they grew lighter and became the hazel color they are now.

    Ground Zero Mosque

Blah blah blah. No Muslim in the right mind considers the terrorists to have been Muslim (I don't). The terrorists can claim that their practice of extremism is Islam, but from an actual Muslim's point of view, what they did (and what they're doing now) does not follow any of the Islamic laws...

    Ramadan

I give you props. And I'm actually happy that I'm not the only one fasting on TCoDf (it's obligatory for me, since I'm a practicing Muslim.) I would like to point out that you're not allowed to drink anything, even water. Another thing I would like to mention is that, since the beginning and end...

    Ground Zero Mosque

Okay, you're giving Hamas waaay too much credit here (if you're saying that they're funding this). Hamas doesn't even have the money or resources to keep its people alive, and you're telling me that they're potentially sending millions of dollars to pay for a mosque?

    Ground Zero Mosque

I think it would also be relevant to mention that the Islamic center, in addition to having a mosque, will house an athletic center, a culinary school and art studios. This isn't just beneficial to the Islamic community in NYC, but really the entire community there. Source: http://goo.gl/ldNP...

    Ground Zero Mosque

A victory flag for who, the Muslims? Do you honestly think we (yes, I'm using we here) were partying when the Twin Towers came down and people were dying? See, the purpose of that mosque, as others have probably said, is as a place of worship and as a way to bridge the gap between the Muslims...

    Ground Zero Mosque

Dude, first get your facts straight. One, it was September 11th, not November. Two, the attack on Pearl Harbor was initiated by Islamic radicals? Really, last time I checked, it was the Japanese who did it. I agree with this and can confirm what is said, as I am a Muslim. (sorry if I didn't...

    XML and JavaScript

Okay, I've discovered the sheer easiness of creating a Google Chrome extension, so now I'm trying to do just that. I'm developing a Prayer Times (a timetable thing for Muslims so that they know if it's time to pray when they're browsing the web) and I'm using XML instead of a MySQL database for...

Well, I went ahead and replaced the battery (CR2032) and now it works. Thanks for the help, though.
