You are a youth (anywhere between school grades 1 through 12), and the offspring of a mortal and some type of deity from a polytheistic civilization somewhere on Earth. The school year has just begun, and you are enrolled at a special academy of sorts for those like you. Not merely gifted, you, to an extent, have powers inherited from your immortal parent. (If you are a child of Thor, for example, you have power over thunder and lightning. If your immortal parent is Ra, you'll have some control over the sun.)

However, there is a conflict at this school. The four Dorm Masters (all deities related to wisdom): Athena, Thoth, Odin, and Ganesha, normally get along in harmony, but lately.... Some of each of their students have been..... Problematic, and want a fifth dorm without any gods controlling them so they can do as they please to those of purely mortal blood.

You are NOT one of those students. You have been chosen to attempt to keep the peace.
