• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

ASB Mafia: Day 5

...now that I read the role descriptions again, though, the grasswhistle (and thunder wave) actions don't have to go through. Whoops. So it's possible that in the future there could be a day where no one is asleep, but that hasn't been the case so far--as I pointed out, they wouldn't have been allowed to act on the first night, and there's been a sleeping person every day since then.

Whoah, whoah, why do you guys post so much while I'm away for dinner? :I Ahem, anyway.

@Zora: I'm pretty sure that the sleeping person can still vote - can they? Actually, I don't know. But like FMC(p) said, it could be to throw us off the trail, or it could be like Kratos(p) said (which seems much more likely). Until we have more evidence, I think we'll have to leave it at that.

@Linoone: If Flora had some good suspicions against a person, then why doesn't she voice them? So, yeah, I think Kratos's theory is actually pretty sound.

@Midnight: Well, now that I think about it... First they kill Jack(p), then when Flora steps up to do the list, they put her to sleep... Maybe the Mafia are trying to deprive us of lists.

For the record: I was talking to Negrek a while ago and she said that sleeping people are allowed to vote in the lynch polls, at least in this game.

OK, so since we're clearly about a week behind on this and Negrek will randomly nom someone if I don't, I nominate thor165.

Well, because of the forum downtime and because I won't be around much this week, I'm going to extend the discussion deadline a bit. You have an additional 36 hours for discussion from this point, which should take you to Wednesday at about 2:00 AM, EST.

Not that I have any qualms about the renunciation, but we've hardly got any leads so I hypothesize we'll end up nominating him again at the last hour :V *pessimistic*

What Blazhy(p) said, basically.

But our problem is still no solved... We're going to have to nominate someone at the last second and I'll probably miss it again due to timezone differences and stuff.

So. Any new leads? Because if we don't have any, we might as well as resort to killing thor165 just in case a random innocent who actually contributes to the conversation doesn't die.

Putting back the nomination on thor165. Don't want no random innocent smited by Negrekgod and it's almost time as it were.

*goes back to writing*

This day, the players' discussion (primarily of Flora and Ashes' apparent boredom at this whole game of slaughter) is brought to a halt by a some strange temporal disturbance, one that leaves the players locked in place, unable to communicate at all for what seems to be days on end. The odd feeling passes, though, and the people on the beach stretch and glance around uncertainly, wondering whether they were just imagining things after all.

As time resumes its normal course, Zora of Termina is rather distressed by the sight of the sun sinking towards the horizon. Any failure to slay someone is liable to bring on strange weather, and she's determined not to let the randomizer have its say. When, once again, she singles out an unsuspecting victim, there are none who challenge her nomination, merely stepping back to let her have a clear shot at her target. After the grim deed is done, a couple of people crowd close as thor165, a rather stunned expression on his deceased face, has his true alignment revealed, hoping they may have bagged another mafia member. This time, though, Zora's victim proves to be nothing but an innocent, albeit rather inactive, bystander.

thor165 is dead. He was not mafia.

Forty-eight hours for night actions.
