For those who are unfamiliar, BlazBlue is the spiritual successor to the fighting game series Guilty Gear. But yeah, it's a fun fighting game that I enjoy and I'm hoping a few people here play it.

For those who play it: who do you play as?

I play as Taokaka, sub as Tsubaki and would like to learn Carl at some point.

I main Hazama and Tao, sorta sub Ragna and Valk. Although it really isn't fair to just pigeonhole me into just one or two characters, since I dabble in a little of everyone. Just that i specialize mostly in those four. Got a chance to play Platinum a couple months back when CS2 came out for PSP, and she's pretty fun too.

What system do you play for?

Taokaka and Makoto. I can play Litchi alright, and Tager is fun to play around with.

I play on either 360 or PS3, as I own neither system. I've also played it in the arcade, and find I play this game slightly more efficiently on an arcade stick.

Also, I'm hopefully going to a tournament the week after next.

I play on the PS3 and sometimes play the arcade rip on the pc. I'll be playing on an arcade machine in a few weeks at a convention, the local gaming society in the university are the only ones I know of in the country that have a cabinet.

It's good to see some Tao's around, she's a fun character. Tager and Ragna on the other hand...

Haha, would you be interested in a couple matches sometime? I'm always looking for some other people to fight, and whenever I play I usually end up getting matched with the same two people @_@

I want to assume both of you play on game pads, then? Sadly, I don't have a fightstick of my own, so most likely I will have to use one at the tournament, but I'm not terrible on it.

As somebody who mains Zangief on Super Street Fighter IV, I really can't complain about Tager's gameplay.

Also, BlazBlue provides me an example of such a character: I like Noel, but I don't like playing as her.

I haven't played Blazblue, and I do not have a console to play it, but I am very interested.

My favourite character is Arakune because I love Eldritch Abominations <3

I really want to get into BlazBlue but I'm not much of a fighting game fan so I'm not sure I'll like it (plus I rarely play my Xbox). If the 3DS version gets released in Europe, I'll probably buy it.

Yeah, I play on a pad. I lack any sticks to use, nor have I gotten a chance to play CS with a stick :V I'd imagine it isn't so bad though. I actually do fairly well at Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Guilty Gear on a stick o.o

A friend of mine had never played a fighting game before BlazBlue, but then he bought CS and loves it. At the very least, BlazBlue is really stylish.

If you can play Guilty Gear on a stick, I'm sure you can play BlazBlue on a stick.

Yeah, BB is a much slower GG. But as far as using a stick goes for me, it's a matter of what I feel comfortable with, and I tend to feel more comfortable using a pad :V

Off topic, but I'd still love to play Melty Blood Actress Again with a stick <3

Everyone who is considering BlazBlue, I would say try it at least. I had never really been into fighting games before but this sucked me in and I've been in love with it since. Even if you're not for the actual fighting aspect of the game, there is the story mode which is pretty awesome if not a bit mindmelting.
