...I don't get it. How do they know if you're religious or not? Do they just ask you, or do you have to go to church, or what? What if you get to be the highest rank but then decide you're not religious, or convert to Hinduism or something?

(I know nothing about the BSA, I'm not being purposefully stupid)
 
i assume if you told somebody that were religious, attained the highest rank, then decide you aren't, and told them, you'd get demoted? i don't know if that's even possible though, but i would assume they wouldn't want you to be the highest rank if so :|
