• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Sojaveña Wilds Brisa's Cabin

Neither Silver nor Lyra were much surprised by Brisa’s description of Starr’s battle tactics, with their expressions turning into a pensive frown and a nervous rubbing of forepaws, respectively. It truly felt like they had been yoinked by Celebi and dropped into a previous era, back to a troubled period that the Sneasel immensely regretted and that the Buneary was only relieved it was over.

Sensing that Silver was busy thinking of what supplies to get for their mission and pondering vague plans to better counter his feline mirror match, Lyra decided to break their combined silence with a confident grin.

“Well! This isn’t our first rodeo dealing with rogue experiments and someone who matches that battle style, y’know!” she exclaimed, holding the rim of her hat to try to look cooler. She noticed Silver quirking his brow at her, probably as a mix of annoyance and worry for her safety, but she persisted. “Like, yeah, that’s gonna be a risky mission and I’m not underselling the stakes, of course not! I just believe we’ve got what it takes to succeed!”

The Buneary nodded at Brisa. “We’ll be ready whenever you are!”, she said before glancing sideways at Silver, her expression turning serious as she shifted to mental talk. ‘And no, I’m not backing off. I might not be a butt-kicker like you or the others,’ she winked reassuringly, ‘but I’ve learned plenty of healing moves. And you could use a cleric-aka-medic once this is all over, no?’

Silver had plenty to object about Lyra’s decision to join the mission, but he knew her well enough to know that she would’ve done something incredibly wacky if she got out of his sight for too long, and only the sky knew what tricks she would’ve pulled out of her stupid rabbit’s hat.

As such he simply sighed, resigned to the idea of having to keep watch of her, then addressed Brisa. “Yeah, like she said. Just give us a meeting point and time. We’ll be there before then.”
