• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Burger King Lawsuit

Minnow

If you're gonna dig, dig to the heavens!
Okay, okay, this might not be that funny to some, as it's a more subtle humor -unintentional too- but to me...

Well, I just burst out laughing in the middle of it. It's hilarious.

So, just read, or at least skim, the first page and you'll see what I mean. I think the humor peaks at post #8.

Haha. Might want to check the link again. (:

What the crap? I'm getting that too, it worked before... I'll try to fix it...

EDIT:
Hmmm, no idea what's happening. Whenever I make it into a hyperlink it comes up with that page, but when I copy the link into the address bar it works fine.

So just put 'http://' before the rest of the link up there and put it into the address bar. If I figure out what's wrong I'll change it back.

Crazier things have happened in law, but really this is just idiotic in principle anyway. It'd be much, much less hassle to just boycott BK, rather than go to the trouble to hire a lawyer, go to court and all that other legal stuff. Even if the case would be heard, which I doubt.

There are some odd people in this world :3

(Anyway, by having her money back she'd've probably waived any right to sue. Haha >:3)

...They DO realize that the burger was made by people who probably get minimum wage and don't give a crap, right?

Right?

Oh, this reminds me of one article I read. Apparently, one guy, who was deathly allergic to cheese, went to McDonalds and ordered a Cheeseburger (I forgot which burger they specifically ordered) without cheese. Instead of checking it first, they drove staight home, opened it up in a dark room, and took a bite out of it, nearly dying from an allergic reaction. They won a million dollars XD

Oh, that's hilarious. That's a truly idiotic lawsuit.
:)
It also made me hungry... for what, I don't know.

I laughed at post number eight. Seriously, the person who brought up the topic needs to get a life. The fact that people answered the original poster is a bit depressing.

Umm, I'm pretty sure more or less all the posts were sarcastic.
Unless you think that they shouldn't have answered at all, sarcasm or no sarcasm.

It's people like this that give the USA a terrible reputation. =[

Humans never cease to amaze me. I'm honestly rooting for her, this country needs more fast food like it needs another person in an important office that doesn't know what they're doing, oh wait, we already have that. *sigh* I think i have a love hate relationship with the U.S.

But post #8 is too true, seriously, if you're loosing sleep over a sandwitch you need help.
