Not all that many people like those pokemon. Maybe if you added more variety, they would get taken. Or perhaps, instead of having them as slots, you could have their roles. You know, living alarm clock, newbie guide, team organizer. And remember, there are a lot of other pokemon hat people could play as. Swellow and wurmple... There are more, but I'm having trouble remembering. But I'm guessing more people would join if you made the slots a bit more loose: only having six people being able to choose which pokemon they are is just kind of limiting.
Edit: Dang. Got ninjaed. Three times. typing on an iPod takes ages. But my point is still more or less that this is an rp, and being canon just holds it back.

I can still be Wigglytuff, right? And chatot should probably stay two. But as for the rest, maybe they graduated, or something. Remember, this is an rp. It's only slightly more limited than a fanfic: you can do anything you want with it, as long as it makes sense.

Then you'll need some thinking. At least one partner would need to be pure Pokemon to lead them to the guild.
One of the two would need a fourth member, because we actualy want a survivor at the end methinks (or else the whole plot will be ruined and none of us can exist anymore).

Yes, but keep in mind that the Pokemon wouldn't know. A few Pokemon can fight off Dusknoir.
At that point, you'd probably want all the groups together.
Along with the fact that Lapras is rather big, it shouldn't be a problem to fit everybody (which can hopefully be a max of seven people).
Also, I'd say that maybe the two teams could team up a while into it, considering the fact that they're both in the same situation.
Keep in mind that due to the fact history didn't go as it was supposed to, the humans-turned-Pokemon cease to exist. They'd all be gone, and the Pokemon could go back and explain just like in the game.
Towards the end, the humans can appear 1 by 1?
In that case, it would likely be logical to have two teams of four, with one pure Pokemon in each, so it's not all focused on a particular one. They wouldn't both have to be down at the ocean, the other one can take the position of Bidoof, but in a gloomy mood that reason.

I'm assuming much of the stirrings will be different, while details that were vital to the original will stay the same.

Personality: Joseph is usually calm, not one to get involved in fights intensionally. As a result, he is rather weak. He does not become impulsive very easily, but will if he is extremely annoyed.
He can be emotional at times.
Other: I don't care if it's technically impossible to get a male Eevee in these games as a starter. I'm doing it.
Joseph was an orphan at a young age, but he wouldn't remember this now.
Short form is short, it doesn't live up to my standards. Not much I could write about, though.
