Lost at sea
- Pronoun

This once-beautiful, wide-open field has been devastated by an intense fire, ravaging what used to be a safe-haven for grass-types and other field-dwelling pokémon. The place has now become a barren wasteland, with very little of anything for most pokémon to live off of.
Despite the name, however, many pokémon wander through the Desolate Wasteland. Most of them are fire-types, attracted to the recently burnt terrain and intense heat; or ghost-types, pulled in by the mysterious and empty air the area gives off. Many still are hardy desert-dwellers, or others well-suited for the harsh environment.
The only sign of human life is a small shack with a large sign above it, reading "WELCOME TO THE DESOLATE WASTELAND RESERVE: Fire-types, ghost-types, and more!" in bright red. Curiously, you decide to enter the shack, and a young lady greets you. "Hello, and welcome to Wasteland Reserve!" she says cheerily. "Ever since that huge fire, not many people come here anymore, so I'm always glad to have visitors!" she explains. "I wonder if it's the name of the place that drives them away...anyway, here are your first six pokéballs, which are free of charge. Enjoy yourself!"
* You start out with six pokéballs on your first adventure here. If you want more, it's $1 for two pokéballs.
* It's pretty hot here, so unless you have a water- or ice-type to cool you off, you'll need to pay $2 for a (quite large) bottle of water. Otherwise, you can only last 10 rounds in the heat.
* You will be charged once you leave/run out of pokéballs based on the pokémon you caught. It's 2$ per common or uncommon, 3$ per rare or very rare. You're charged an extra $1 if the pokémon is shiny.
* You can ignore a pokémon if you don't want it.
* If a pokémon is holding an item, capturing it will get you the item at no extra charge. If you want the item but not the pokémon, you can steal it, but stolen items add $1 apiece to your total cost at the end of your adventure.
* I don't know if it's necessary to say this, but once you leave the Desolate Wasteland, any items attached to pokémon go to your inventory and are no longer attached to the pokémon.
* If you find a pokémon you want to capture, you can chose to swap it with one you have already caught. Just note that if you get rid of a pokémon that's holding an item, you'll lose the item as well.
*If you are absent from this thread for over three weeks without letting me know beforehand, your adventure will end. Sorry.
* To avoid confusion, please quote your status when you post, unless you're the only person here.
