Super Mario 64 DS is like heaven in a DS cartridge - it's like the gaming equivalent of an orgasm. Every moment you're playing it is a moment of happiness. It is the only game you could ever need. Get it even if you've played the N64 version, and if you haven't then get it right now. I'm serious, I want you stop what you're doing and go get it. It rocks. 15/10.
The World Ends With You is also fun, Wild World could be fun or could suck depending on what you're into, and I thought that Mario and Luigi: Partners In Time was so incredibly hard I didn't even want to play it, but every review of it I've ever read complained that it was too easy. This is something I do not understand.

Aaaah!!! Why am I the only one who doesn't like it? The controls are fucked, the gameplay takes ages and I have much better games to spend my life playing. I have it for hacks and thats it.

Like ElGarbanzo said, not if you play with the D-Pad. Granted, the touch screen controls suck a hairy monkey testicle, but the solution is not to use the touch screen controls. Besides, I'm pretty sure the D-Pad controls are the default, so whatever.
What do you mean by "the gameplay takes ages?" Do you mean that it's a lengthy game? Well... that's a good thing. Or do you mean that the levels are too long and drawn-out? Well... this is simply untrue! The levels are all in tiny, bite-sized chunks. On your second playthrough, you can beat most levels in under two minutes once you figured out what to do.
There are no better games to spend your life playing. :)
