D/P/Pt Even newer Team, unfinished

Thorne

It's feeding time
Oh god I'm at it again, I just love designing teams. It's so much fun, even if I never actually use the team, but really, I made a new team again, and I'm not done with it, as a matter of fact I just have three of them, so I'd like some on the remaining three, this time accepting those in the OU tier.

Without further ado, the team as for now is the following:

Weezing
-Flamethrower
-Thunderbolt
-Will-O-Wisp
-Pain Split
Item Attached: Leftovers
Ability: levitate
EVs and Nature:
EVs: 252 HP/ 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
I took the set from Uutton, and it's really the same as before, in about every term, albeit I wish I could up the Special Attack a bit, but I really couldn't think of a good change in the EVs for that, but I except I could take a bit from the Defence, since they have such high Defence either way.

Mismagius
-Substitute
-Calm Mind
-Shadow Ball
-Thunderbolt
Item Attached: Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs and Nature:
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 SDef
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
Well, really, it's a Mismagius, so this set is kinda a no-brainer, up with a Sub, Calm Mind to make it harder to break, and then just kill about anything thayt is in the way.

Toxicroak
-Cross Chop
-Sucker Punch
-Poison Jab
-Stone Edge
Item Attached: Choice Band
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs and Nature:
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 def
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
A Choice Band Toxicroak, the set covers up about everything it'd possible needs to. I decided to get Jolly Nature just to up the Speed a bit, it needs it.

I said it was unfinished, so there really isn't more as of now, I can use about anything I like, which is hard for you to know, so just suggest something good and I'll see what I think of it.

Looks pretty good so far. Consider Explosion on Weezing, maybe a few points into Attack to help it out with that. Timid might be a better nature for Mismagius to ensure it outspeeds more things and gets off that crucial Substitute. Calm Mind will be giving you plenty of special attack anyway.

Suggestions? Uh... Skarmory and Blissey always make a mean combo defense-wise. If you like Bronzong better, you could replace either one with Bronzong, considering his roughly equal defenses and ton of resistances. Other than that... maybe some sort of mixed sweeper? Infernape, Lucario, and Salamence are all good ones.

Eeh, most of those can be considered "Cliché" Pokémon, and I want to be original. Although I can consider Bronzong, because I do like that one.
On the other hand, I was thinking of using Camerupt, experienced battler Gigatitan uses one and it completely devastates anything that comes in it's way.

... Maybe? I don't see a lot that Camerupt has going for it. Its attack stats are only average, its defenses are weak, and it has low enough speed that it HAS to survive hits in order to do anything, which leads back to the "weak defenses" point. At a quick glance, his movepool seems rather limited in terms of type. I dunno, I guess it could work, but I imagine you'd need a hell of a strategy for it.

I highly recommend switching Cross Chop and Stone Edge on Toxicroak for Brick Break and Rock Slide respectively. The low accuracy and pp makes them difficult to use. You could get away changing Weezing's nature to Modest (+SAtk - Atk) with his amazing defense.

As do I; the drop in power from Stone Edge to Rock Slide is too high to be worth it, and even more so for Cross Chop to Brick Break.

Weezing's bulk is decent, but not enough to warrant a nature change. Weezing's attacking capabilities are lackluster at best. You should focus on what it does best, not try to improve on something it sucks at.

Well, I gave up the idea of having a an actual team a while ago, and just raise Pokémon and use them together when I feel like it.

That said, I've made some originial movesets I'd like to use at some time or. another.

Omastar
-Hydro Pump
-AncientPower
-Ice beam
-Earth Power
Item Attached: Leftovers
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs and Nature:
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
Omastar is a bit limited in it's movepool, but still have some nice moves to toy around with. hydro Pump is a powerful STAB move, and while Ancientpower isn't all that good, it's still STAB and have the ability to raise all stats by one stage. Ice Beam and Earth Power is there for type coverage, beating Grass and Steel Types. respectively.

Lucario
-Aura Sphere
-Dragon Pulse
-Vacuum Wave
-Psychic
Item Attached: Expert Belt
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs and Nature:
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
A Special-based Lucario, Aura Sphere is an obvious choice, Dragon Pulse hits Dragons, since they resist about anything or else or take neutral damage from it. Since Lucario only have decent, not good, speed, Vacuum Wave will deal with most problems thrown in that directions, and lastly, Psychic hits Fighting types, hard.

Infernape
-Fire Blast
-Shadow Claw
-Grass Knot
-Rock Edge
Item Attached: Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs and Nature:
EVs: 4 Def / 252 Spd / 126 Atk / 126 SAtk
Hasty Nature
A mixed Infernape, as can be seen right here, with the moveset, every weakness is covered up, Fire Blast is just a STAB move, but it works well. Shadow Claw is something I don't see a lot, and I don't really understand why, it can hit Psychic types hard, and then Grass Knot is an obvious choice, as it hits Water and Ground types, while finally Rock Edge takes care of any flying type.

OKAY MY COMPUTER SUCKS AND THIS IS THE THIRD DAMN TIME I'M WRITING THIS OUT SO IMMA MAKE THIS QUICK.

Rain Dance. Swift Swim. Awesome combo. Replace Ancientpower with Rain Dance and Lefties with Damp Rock. This boosts the power of Hydro Pump too. If you like more accuracy, try Surf, as it still gets the boost from Rain Dance but still loses some power; otherwise, keep Hydro Pump. As well, if you don't mind losing a few turns of rain, you can use a Life Orb instead.

Shadow Ball over Psychic. Aura Sphere and Shadow Ball give perfect neutral coverage, which is more important than hitting a few types for super-effective; iirc it gives roughly equal super-effective coverage too.

Shadow Claw sucks because of its low base power. At only 70, even a super-effective hit deals less than a neutral STAB Fire Blast. Close Combat should be on here somewhere, as its high base power, great type coverage, and STAB bonus can't be ignored. EVs need some work too; giving any more than about 64 Attack EVs, iirc, doesn't net you any significant OHKOs. (64 Attack EVs are all that's needed to OHKO Blissey with Close Combat, as well as Tyranitar, Heatran, and Snorlax - all extremely important.) Shift a bunch of those Attack EVs into Sp.A.
And the EVs you have right now mean you essentially wasted 4 EVs. =/

And I wrote Eevee too much up there.
