There's no set classes though, students having individual timetables dependant on subject and ability. Two timetables with a lot of common subjects is possible though.

Now, my character, just so you know who he is:

Name: John Henry
Age: 17
Year: 7
Gender: Male
Appearance: 6' tall and fairly broad, he is rather physically imposing, and he is quite strong, with blond hair and deep blue eyes. He generally wears greens, greys, and browns, and as such he has a green tie, which he wears with a black uniform (despite a liking for grey). He is often seen with a brown trenchcoat over his uniform. He also wears a pair of glasses with fine wire frames.
Personality: He is intelligent, and is exceptionally bright in biology, being described as 'the best biologist to have ever been through this school. He is, however, rather asocial, and seems cold and arrogant to most people. Part of him wants to change, but the other side is happy as he is, and it is in fact probably this lack of social skills which allows him to exploit his intelligence.
Biography: He and his family moved to the area from Yorkshire, England, just in time to come into the school at the start of year one, and he has mad a few friends, but not many. He had already showed a remarkable skill for biology, and zoology in particular, and so managed to get ahead in biology. He is now really waiting for the rest of his education to catch up. During this time he was contacted by a shadowy figure who only identifies as 'M'. M warned John about Team Aurora, and was responsible for causing the appearance of people able to turn into pokémon. John now needs to find and unite these people - not easy when they don't want to be found.
Other: John is 'normal' but is aware that this has happened. He's also looking for you

Name: Vai Rochora
Age: 16
Year: 6th Year
Gender: Female, woo~
Type: Dragon.
Pokémon: DSalamence
Appearance: Vai wears the typical school uniform, pants and shirt. She is East Asian, specifically Filipino. We She has dark brown hair, brown eyes, and stands at a bit over four feet. Nothing special. Off school, Vai wears a black jacket with a tall hood over a dark red shirt. Pants are dark borwn baggy sweat pants. And the Reeboks with the straps; WITH THE STRAPS
Personality: Vai is reckless, crossing the line to careless. She doesn't care about what people think about her much, and is pretty friendly. She does, however hold heavy grudges, and if Vai sets her mind on something she will not change. She loves her DS, and sometimes sneaks it to school to play in the cafeteria(yes?), favourite game being Pokemon Pearl.
Biography: Born in the Philippines, her familiy immigrated to *insert country name here* and eventually settled down in Alotorn. Vai has been around tropical areas long enough to know that heat is better than cold.

Dragon - I'm not comfortable with a young 5th year being a Salamence, and would say move the age up or change to shelgon.

I say dining hall rather than cafeteria because of where I went to school (actually I dislike cafeteria), but I suspect cafeteria will be what everyone else says. Oh well.

Name: Balia Eiru
Age: 17
Year: 7
Gender: Female
Type: Fire
Pokémon: Rapidash
Appearance: Tall without being lanky, Balia has slightly tanned skin and honey brown hair that falls to her mid-back. She wears the usual girl's uniform with grey pants, and can usually be seen with not a hair out of place. Even out of school, she usually wears a sleek black top and comfortable pants, and generally manages to look elegant, even with a mane of hair. Her eyes are green-grey and she has a blue Celtic knot on her shoulder. The tattoo, oddly enough, transfers to her Pokemon form.
Personality: Balia, despite her always elegant appearance, is usually anything but. She's an expert at lying and deception, and enjoys flinging herself into new situations. However, she is actually quite self conscious, and though she's proud and boastful about ordinary things, any stress or sudden change in her life is carefully cloaked by her lies and a smiling facade. She also has a surprising talent at writing, but doesn't talk about it much. Most of her time is keyed to doing adequately well in school, building up a good amount of friends and followers and making sure she's the centre of attention.
Biography: She moved to Alorton when she was five, and loved the town immediately. She doesn't even know why - there was just this feeling that good things would happen if she lived here. So she tried as hard as she could to get a nice, interesting life. She briefly was a fan of the Pokemon games, but when she started having weird dreams after playing one of the games, she stopped playing them.
Other: Yes, for once she's not named Tala. :P And she's in the same class as Tom and Kali, I guess? *lazy*

The year sets the groups each character is in, however students won't be with the same group of people for all of their lessons except due to coincidence.

Name: Aseos Phansmacos
Age: 15
Year: 4
Gender: Male
Type: Ghost
Pokemon: Gastly (About to evolve)
Appearance: For the most part, almost ghostly. He has a pale complexion and has droopy eyes. His eyes are a deep mauve, but very dull, only brightening when he's happy. His hair is also pale violet colored, but it seems almost dusty. It covers his face and at its longest point goes down to his shoulder blades. He is about 5' 6" and of slight build.
Personality: Again, almost ghostly. He doesn't talk a lot, and is calm, cool and collected. He never volunteers for anything and stays away from student gatherings. He prefers the dark, the cold and solitude.
Bio: He was born and raised in Nebraska, in a small town cut off from the business of the rest of the world. When he was 9, his psychologist diagnosed him with a mild case of autism, but to this day he knows this isn't true. His parents sent him to this school hoping he would warm up to other people. He is very smart, but prefers not to show off, only answering questions when asked.
Other: I have ELA exams tomorrow. Lucky me...

I'm killing myself trying to decide whether to keep my character a Dragonair, or make her older and be a Salamence. Errrrr.... how old would a Salamence be, say, 16?

Murrr. I just don't think I can act mature >_>

, when Espeon, she is a normal Espeon but with a blue jewel instead of red.
Personality: Split, depending on her form. When she is a human, she is very hyper. When an Espeon, she is the excact opposite: calm and collected.
Biography: When Mysti was a baby, they moved to Alorton. Having known no other city, Mysti resides in this city and thinks it the only city in the world, even though she knows there is more world out there. At two, Mysti's mom began working with her to read, eventually she did. Up until 6th grade, she was an A/B student. She got a C in math. Her parents were furious. Mysti was grounded from electronics. Now, she still struggles in math, barely getting a B-, but it's not a C. When Mysti found out she could turn into Espeon, her absolute favorite Pokemon, as she is still a fan... she exploded with joy.
Other: This is unfinished. I really have to go, so I'm saving it and doing the bio later.

Is 16 old enough for Salamence? I just don't feel I can be mature... but meh. >:/

Dragon - Reaccepted, however a 16 year old will be in 6th year (or 5th, but probably not as a Salamence) rather than 7th.

Mewtwo - I'd prefer Mysti to be slightly older, although it doesn't need to be by very much.
