Have you ever auditioned for anything?

I auditioned for high school, and got in~

I also auditioned for university. I did not get in. Tough competition, and besides, it wasn't my best performance.

This is mainly theatre and drama, by the way; not music.
 
I've auditioned for a few things in my life (mostly school plays that weren't a big deal, and they assigned you a role), and always, always ended up being the narrator. On the plus side, I usually get the script in front of me, but it also means I don't get to act, which I'd like to do.
